On the day after Thanksgiving, the ABC Network will officially begin their holiday programming, which is set to include the all-new series “The Great Holiday Baking Show” and “The Great Christmas Light Fight”, the annual “CMA Country Christmas” music event hosted by Jennifer Nettles, and the “Toy Story 20th Anniversary Special”.
Kristen Bell will host a special holiday retrospective, “It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown” in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the PEANUTS animated tale, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” with appearances by Kristin Chenoweth, Sarah McLachlan, Boyz II Men, Pentatonix, and more!
You’ll also find classic animated specials in the line-up, such as, “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town”, “Rudolph’s Shiny New Year”, and “Disney’s Prep & Landing”, along with holiday-themed episodes of the hit comedies “Fresh Off the Boat”, “Modern Family”, “black-ish”, “The Middle”, “The Goldbergs”, “Last Man Standing”, and “Dr. Ken”.
Once again, ABC’s holiday programming begins on Friday, November 27th at 8pm/9c and will end on New Year’s Eve with the airing of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2016”. I’ve included the schedule below, which includes air dates/times and a synopsis of each.
