There aren’t many family-friendly Christmas movies hitting theaters this year, but that doesn’t mean your local cinema is totally lacking some yuletide options. If you are in the mood for some laughs (and you’re old enough to see it), you might want to check out “Office Christmas Party” starring Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and SNL star Kate McKinnon.
In the film, which is centered around–well, an office Christmas party, McKinnon’s character Mary Winetoss gets into the holiday spirit by wearing an ‘ugly sweater’ featuring patterns for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc. and the sweater has been officially replicated for you to purchase – the Tipsy Elves Office Christmas Party™ Nondenominational Sweater.
This sweater is available at TipsyElves.com for $59 USD.
Stay merry!

For this morning’s “LIVE with Kelly” show, Kelly Ripa was joined by guest co-host Richard Curtis as they presented a Christmas fashion show where seven people were donned in their holiday best get-ups.
For the occasion, Kelly wore a grey lobster Christmas sweater–the Talbots “Santa Claws” Sweater ($60 at Talbots.com), to be exact with a green metallic J. Crew Collection Tile Sequin Pencil Skirt (sold out).

Last night’s all new episode of FOX’s “New Girl” (6×10 “Christmas Eve Eve”) was holiday-themed filled with yuletide cheer, shopping, gift-exchanging, and Megan Fox in a Santa suit. That’s right, Reagan (played by Fox) showed up towards the end of the episode wearing a Santa Claus jacket and a pair of black tights baring the jolly elf’s face.

On tonight’s episode of Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World” (3×18 “Girl Meets a Christmas Maya”), Riley Matthews (played by Rowan Blanchard) showed everyone her excitement for her favorite holiday–and it was clear that she was ready to fa-la-la-la-la with the best of them as she rocked around the Christmas tree in her Wildfox Rockin’ Around Sweatshirt.

Taylor Cole stars in “Christmas in Homestead”, a brand new original movie that the Hallmark Channel premiered this week as part of the line-up for their Countdown to Christmas holiday programming. The movie centers around an actress that heads to Homestead, Iowa–a small town that goes big for Christmas and let’s just say yuletide cheer, movie magic, romance, a love triangle and a little bit of drama ensue.
Due to her high profile Hollywood lifestyle, it should be no surprise that Cole’s character Jessica McEllis has quite fancy wardrobe. She had a plethora of beautiful wintry looks, but two of my favorite pieces were shearling styled jackets that I was able to track down online!
This year has been a bumpy one, but there are still many things I’m grateful for and I plan on celebrating them with my loved ones this evening. For now, I’m off to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I hope you have a wonderful holiday…the countdown to Christmas is really on now!
#GobbleGobble & #StayMerry!
NBC is gearing up to deck the halls with their annual holiday programming! The iconic network will begin their festive schedule with the annual “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade”, which will then be followed by specials such as “Christmas in Rockefeller Center”, “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love” (the follow-up to last year’s “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors”), “Hairspray Live!” starring Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande & Derek Hough, “A Pentatonix Christmas” and “Michael Bublé Sings and Swings”!
NBC will also air a special holiday episode of their hit new series “This Is Us”, rebroadcasts of “Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas” and “How Murray Saved Christmas”, and on Christmas Eve you can watch the holiday classic “It’s A Wonderful Life”. All of this will lead up to the grand finale to their festive line-up with “New Year’s Eve with Seth Meyers and Carson Daly” on December 31st.

Christmas is coming! You know what that means…FREEFORM’S 25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS!
For its first holiday season under its new network name (formerly known as ABC Family), Freeform will begin their seasonal programming on December 1st with a jam-packed line-up of holiday favorites! Among the movies included are: “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, “The Santa Clause”, “Elf”, “The Polar Express”, “The Holiday”, “Arthur Christmas”, and “Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish”, original movies “The Mistle-Tones”, “Holiday in Hand-Cuffs”, “Christmas Cupid”, “12 Dates of Christmas”, and Freeform’s premiere of “Holiday Joy” starring Bailee Madison.
What I really like about this line-up is that there’s more Christmas movies than usually featured in the past; I like the “Harry Potter” movies as much as the next gal, but I feel like they’re better suited for the 13 Nights of Halloween line-up, or even the Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas. That being said, I miss the days of having a lot of original new movies to look forward to and I wish there was more variety in the primetime airings this year.
If you’re looking for a lot of variety, make sure you tune in during the early morning hours or afternoon.
