Candace Cameron Bure returned to Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas for her ninth holiday film with the network…and she played dual roles! That’s right, she starred in the new original film “Switched For Christmas” as estranged twin sisters, Kate Lockhart and Chris Dixon, who swap places to organize Christmas events and see how the other half lives for a few days which might just strengthened their bond that dwindled when their mother passed a year prior.

It was a cute movie filled with holiday cheer, family bonding, romance, and a lot of great clothes!

For one of her first looks in the film as Kate, she wore a dark burgundy ASOS Cold Shoulder Ruffle Pephem Midi Dress. While it may be a bit too fancy for every day office attire in real life, this festive asymmetric flounce dress was gorgeous on scene.

Later, when Kate meets up with her sister Chris, we see her in a Karen Millen Knot Drape Asymmetric Top–a lovely sleeveless neutral-colored blouse with an asymmetric layered hemline and a bow accenting one of the shoulders. When Kate attempts to get Chris’ daughter (Candace’s real-life daughter, Natasha Bure!) to help with laundry and bond a little bit, we get a close-up look at Piper’s extremely festive leggings–Just Cozy Women’s Snowflake/Reindeer Patterned Leggings, to be exact.

While spending the day working on plans for the annual festival with Tom (Eion Bailey), Kate bundled up in a fur trimmed jacket over a cozy taupe Anthropologie Fair Isle Tunic with baby blue, marigold and pink detailing. This sweater is $148 at Anthropologie.com.

For another office look, Chris (posing as Kate) dressed up in a second ASOS dress; she wore a cherry ASOS Puff Sleeve Midi Pencil Dress in a shade of red that Santa Claus would love–aka: the jolliest shade for the season.

At the office Christmas party that Kate had to organize, Chris wore the prettiest ‘ugly’ sweater. She was dressed in a v28 Ugly Christmas Sweater, Women Girls Cute Shining Reindeer Pullover Sweater, which is available in 5 colors for $19.99 at Amazon.com.

Chris paired the dress with a flounced white Milly Italian Cady Asymmetrical “Charlotte” Skirt. The skirt is usually angled to the side, but it was styled with the longer hem in the back for this look. I guess Kate really likes ruffles and asymmetrical silhouettes in her wardrobe.
