In addition to Hilarie Burton, Danneel Harris, Robert Buckley, Tyler Hilton and Antwon Tanner heading to Lifetime with “The Christmas Contract”, and Bethany Joy Lenz  starring in “Poinsettias for Christmas” with Sharon Lawrence, it seems that yet another “One Tree Hill” alum will be headlining a new television movie this holiday season — Chad Michael Murray!

The former OTH star, who made his Hallmark Channel debut this past spring in “The Beach House”, will be returning to the network for the Countdown to Christmas 2018 line-up in “The Wise Men”, alongside Jessy Schram who starred in 2017’s “Royal New Year’s Eve”.

According to EW.com, Schram stars as Maggie, who must ensure that the three adult sons of her boss arrive home in time for Christmas but, when a blizzard hits, Maggie must get help from one of the sons — and her co-worker, Danny (Murray) — to navigate the wintry cross-country journey while she simultaneously tries to shut down the sparks that are inevitably going to fly between the two.

It appears filming for “The Wise Men” is already underway as Chad posted photos from the set today on his official Instagram — see it below!

If you’re an OTH fan like I am, I’m sure you’re very excited to see eight of the former cast members from the long-running drama series back on television spreading some yuletide cheer. Look out for “The Wise Men” on Hallmark Channel later this year!
