One of my favorite Hallmark movies that premiered this season was “Jingle Around the Clock” starring Brooke Nevin and Michael Cassidy. The plot centers around Elle (Nevin) who reunites with her college friends every year for a special Christmas celebration but work obligations keep her away from the fun of party planning because of an opportunity she can’t pass up — spearheading a Christmas campaign relaunch that could really advance her career. Much to her dismay, she’s forced to team up with an advertising campaign ‘fixer’ named Max (Cassidy).
Holiday drama occurs, sparks fly, Christmas magic spreads, and you’re left with a pretty good film!
Elle’s winter outerwear consists of a lot of pale tones throughout the movie, and one of my favorite looks was her fitted coat that she accessorized with a winter white scarf, hat and gloves.
The exact jacket is the ZARA Inverted Lapel Collar Frock Coat in Grey Marl, $89.90 at Zara.com.
FYI: Lacey Chabert wore this same coat in Hallmark Channel’s “Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe”!
In keeping the look somewhat monochrome, Elle made sure her bag matched!
She’s carrying the Vince Camuto ‘Leila’ Saffiano Leather Tote, $148 at VinceCamuto.com.
It’s also available in many other colors (and patterns) at QVC.com.
It took many zoomed in views and angles for me to confirm my fashion suspicions, but I was able to determine that Elle definitely wore an adorable pair of black kate spade new york “Holly” Velvet Booties — with a bow embellishment at the ankle!
You can find this exact pair as well as printed version for $358 at katespade.com.
Lara Gilchrist plays Elle’s good friend in the movie, and during a pre-party scene we see her in one of the most iconic Christmas wardrobe staples – an ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’!
I’m not really sure if there’s a specific brand with this green snowman knit, but I did find it on eBay UK as part of a collection of novelty holiday sweaters. They’re available for £7.99 (around $10 USD).
Updated on 12/26/2018: Oakley’s coat added!
Andrea Brooks, who plays Max’s sister Oakley, wore one of my favorite looks out of the whole film!
I absolutely loved this Ever New ‘Daria’ Wrap Coat; it has a fabulous layered appearance and a removable faux fur hood (she didn’t wear the hood attached) — and it’s only $179.95 at EverNew.ca!
Check out the nearly-identical ‘Gabriella’ style too! Not only does it come in the cream shade Oakley rocks but, also ‘Mink’ — a subtle mauve-taupe shade.
FYI: Kimberley Shoniker wore this same coat in 2019’s “Write Before Christmas”!
Stay merry!
Special Thanks to Claudia Da Ponte for help with the newly added item!
