I saw a tweet the other day from Bryan Greenberg (“The Mindy Project”, “One Tree Hill”) about filming in Oahu, Hawaii for a month, and it didn’t take long to find out what project it is that he’s working on… it’s a Christmas movie!

Deadline announced yesterday that both Greenberg and Charles Michael Davis (“Younger”, “For the People”, “The Originals”) will join Lea Michele in the upcoming ABC holiday movie, “Same Time, Next Christmas” — which is currently filming in Hawaii.

Michele plays the lead role of Olivia Henderson, a young woman who met her childhood sweetheart during her family’s annual Christmas visit to Hawaii. After being separated by distance and years, the two reunite at the same Hawaii resort years later and the old chemistry between them flares up anew – but circumstances conspire to keep them apart.

Davis will play Jeff Cutler, a handsome, charming young man, who is also Olivia’s childhood friend and teenage heartthrob from their annual Christmas trips to Hawaii.

Greenberg will play Olivia’s boyfriend, Gregg Harris, a driven real estate agent (and a triathlete!) who envisions him and Olivia as a super-team in Cincinnati real estate.
