It was an exciting day at Disney’s annual D23 Expo! Along with the official trailer for “Noelle”, the House of Mouse also premiered the trailer for the upcoming live-action version of the beloved 1955 animated feature, “Lady and the Tramp”, about a pampered house dog and a tough but lovable stray who embark on an unexpected adventure and, despite their differences, grow closer and come to understand the value of home.
“Lady and the Tramp” will premiere on the upcoming streaming service Disney+ on November 12th.
Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux take on the voices of Lady and Tramp, respectively, while other stars include: Kiersey Clemons as Darling, Thomas Mann as Jim Dear, Yvette Nicole Brown as Aunt Sarah, Janelle Monรกe as the voice of the Tibetan Spaniel named Peg, Sam Elliott as the voice of Trusty the Bloodhound pup, and Ken Jeong in a yet-to-be-announced role.
While this isn’t a Christmas movie per se, the holiday season is still present in the film — as you can see in the trailer above, so I wanted to share it with all of you.
Stay merry!
