I’ve been waiting for this announcement for weeks, and it has finally arrived — the full movie lineup coming to Hallmark this holiday season — and it’s even bigger and more festive than ever before! This year, Hallmark Channel will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Countdown to Christmas with 24 original movies — including two with Hanukkah themes; Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will air 16 for Miracles of Christmas and Hallmark Drama will premiere two festive reality shows.
Many of your favorite stars are returning like Jill Wagner, Andrew Walker, Lacey Chabert, Candace Cameron Bure, Paul Greene, Kristoffer Polaha, Wes Brown, Kellie Pickler, Chad Michael Murray, Danica McKellar, Ryan Paevey, Nikki Deloach, Niall Matter, Holly Robinson Peete, Eric Mabius, Jesse Metcalfe and Alicia Witt — just to name a few.
There are also lots of amazing new faces: Dolly Parton, Kristin Chenoweth, Carly Pope, Matt Cohen, Scott Wolf, Elizabeth Mitchell, Chaley Rose, Rome Flynn and Twilight’s Ashley Greene!
The continuous Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas all-day-and-night holiday programming officially begins October 25th and will run until January 2020. (Update: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama began their programming early on October 18.)

Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses – October 26
Starring: Jill Wagner, Matthew Davis and Donna Mills
The movie centers around Abbey (Wagner), a single mom who takes a risk in following her true passion of interior designing. She is hired by a local businessman, Nick, (Davis) to decorate his estate by Christmas Eve. With the deadline in sight, Abbey must navigate her working relationship with Nick in hopes that this is just the start to a successful new career. The movie also stars Donna Mills as Nick’s mother, Caroline.
Merry and Bright – November 2
Starring: Jodie Sweetin, Andrew Walker and Sharon Lawrence
The story begins when Cate (Sweetin), CEO of the Merry & Bright Candy Cane Company, meets Gabe (Walker) during the busy Christmas season. She assumes Gabe is the suitor her well-meaning mother is trying to set her up with when in reality, he works for Empire Corporate Recovery, which has been hired to take a closer look at Merry & Bright’s operation and find ways to make the company more profitable. As Cate and Gabe begin to work together, they find ways to elevate the business and find that they have more in common than savvy business sense.
Christmas Scavenger Hunt – November 3
Starring: Kim Shaw and Kevin McGarry
When Belinda (Kim Shaw) heads back to her hometown for the holidays, things get complicated when she is forced to team up with her ex, Dustin (McGarry), at the town’s annual Christmas scavenger hunt.
Picture a Perfect Christmas – November 9
Starring: Merritt Patterson and Jon Cor
Extreme sports photographer (Patterson) heads home for the holidays to tend to her injured grandmother and ends up lending a helping hand to a neighbor (Cor) who needs assistance watching his nephew. Could this be a picture perfect Christmas for the new neighbors?
The Mistletoe Secret – November 10
Starring: Kellie Pickler, Tyler Hynes, Patrick Duffy and Christopher Russell
We follow Aria (Pickler), owner of the Mistletoe Café and a huge fan of adventure and travel writer, Sterling Masters. She and her father (Duffy) find out that Sterling Masters is going to write all about the festive Christmas celebrations in their hometown of Midway, Utah but, little does she know that her favorite writer is not who she thinks he is.

Christmas Under the Stars – November 16
Starring: Jesse Metcalfe, Autumn Reeser and Clarke Peters
When Nick (Metcalfe) loses his high finance job right before the holiday season starts, he meets Julie (Reeser) whose son is having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. This is a heart-warming tale of two people rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.
FYI: This movie reunites Reeser and Metcalfe, who previously co-starred in Hallmark’s 2015 film A Country Wedding.
Write Before Christmas – November 17
Starring: Torrey DeVitto, Chad Michael Murray, Grant Show, Lolita Davidovich and Drew Seeley
The movie centers around a recently single Jessica (DeVitto) who sends Christmas cards to people who have impacted her life — the aunt (Lolita Davidovich) who raised her, her younger brother in the military, a popstar (Drew Seeley) who was part of the soundtrack of her life, the music teacher who inspired her, and the best friend who always tells the truth.
Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays – November 23
Starring: Adrian Grenier, Kaitlin Doubleday, Priscilla Presley and Chase Bryant
In this sequel to last year’s hit, an all-new holiday love story and cast comes to the iconic location of Graceland. Harper (Doubleday) returns home to Memphis hoping to land her dream job when she meets Owen (Grenier), a singer father of three in desperate need of an au pair to get him through the holidays.
Cherished Memories: A Gift to Remember 2 – November 24

A Christmas Duet – November 25
Starring: Chaley Rose, Rome Flynn and Teryl Rothery
Well-loved music duo Averie and Jesse, famous for their duet “Wouldn’t Be Christmas,” haven’t played together since they went their separate ways years ago. Averie gave up music and opened a beautiful lodge in a snowy Vermont town – while Jesse still tours, struggling to find the same kind of success they had as a duo. When fate brings them together over the holidays at Averie’s lodge just in time for the annual Yuletide Festival, can the magic of Christmas help reunite them once again? Julia Crawley (Boston) and Ryan Mason (Brown) must unite their families during Crestridge’s Centennial Christmas celebration in order to save their family inns from a chain resort.
The Christmas Club – November 27
Starring: Cameron Mathison and Elizabeth Mitchell
Two busy strangers, Olivia Bennett (Mitchell) and Edward Taylor (Mathison), meet when they help an elderly woman find her lost Christmas savings. Thanks to fate and Christmas magic, they also find something they were both missing: true love. Based on the novel by Barbara Hinske.
Christmas at the Plaza – November 28
Starring: Ryan Paevey and Elizabeth Henstridge
When historian Jessica (Henstridge) is hired to create The Plaza’s Christmas display, she finds more than facts while teaming up with handsome decorator Nick (Paevey) to bring the display to life.
Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy – November 29
Starring: Paul Greene, Maggie Lawson, Barbara Niven, Holly Robinson Peete, Rukiya Bernard, Colin Lawrence, Ashley Williams and Jill Wagner
As the town prepares for its 50th anniversary Christmas fair, they find that their rumored time capsule is actually an advent calendar full of gifts. As a full month of celebrations kicks off, writer–and sometimes journalist, Katie (Lawson), arrives in Evergreen to write a story on the towns too good to be true Christmas fever. But, she’s immediately met with resistance from Ben (Greene), the town librarian.

Angela (Chabert), an independent-minded American tour guide who is fired from her job in Rome just before Christmas and ends up crossing paths with Oliver (Page), an American executive, who wants to buy a high-end Italian ceramics company. Oliver hires Angela to be his guide around the city because the owner of the company won’t sell to him until he learns ‘the heart and soul of Rome’. But, Oliver might just win the heart of more than just Rome.
Christmas Town – December 1
Starring: Candace Cameron Bure, Tim Rozon and Beth Broderick
Lauren Gabriel (Bure) leaves everything behind in Boston to embark on a new chapter in her life and career. But an unforeseen detour to the charming town of Grandon Falls has her discover unexpected new chapters – of the heart and of family – helping her to embrace, once again, the magic of Christmas.
A Christmas Love Story (Hallmark Hall of Fame) – December 7
Starring: Kristin Chenoweth, Scott Wolf and Kevin Quinn
Youth choir director (Chenoweth) needs to write a big song for a Christmas Eve show but is distracted when a boy with a golden voice (Quinn) joins her choir, which comes as a surprise to his widowed father (Wolf).
Christmas at Dollywood – December 8
Starring: Danica McKellar, Niall Matter and Dolly Parton
Rachel Lewis (McKellar) is a single mom and award-winning Broadway producer who learns investors have mismanaged her latest theatrical — a holiday extravaganza — into bankruptcy, forcing the show to close before it even opens. Dismayed, Rachel’s friend calls from Tennessee to tell her about an opportunity to produce a show for the 20th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood. The only caveat? Rachel will have to work with Luke Hakman, Dollywood’s entertainment director who sees the holiday show as a stepping stone to become the park’s new general manager. As the pair make compromises to please their boss, Rachel and Luke realize love can come in the most unexpected of places.

A Cheerful Christmas – December 15 (previously: The Christmas Coach)
Starring: Erica Deutschman and Chad Connell
Lauren and her best friend Colleen think they have landed their dream job – giving people the best and most magical Christmas ever as their personal ‘Christmas Coaches.’ This holiday season promises to be their biggest ever when they land a royal client, the Anderson family, who has moved from England. When Lauren meets James, the eldest son, he wants nothing to do with planning Christmas as he’s busy negotiating a big acquisition for his father’s company. But Lauren won’t be thwarted in helping this royal family embrace the true spirit of Christmas.

Rebecca (Pope) must throw the company holiday party with office rival, Chris (Polaha). It coincides with Hanukkah, so she must juggle her work, family traditions, and nemesis to make the party a success.

When a New England Christmas decorating competition searches for the town with the most Christmas spirit, the Mayors of East and West Riverton go all out to get their towns to the top of the holiday heap.
When Calls the Heart: Home for Christmas – December 25
Starring: Erin Krakow, Pascale Hutton, Jack Wagner, Kavan Smith, Kevin McGarry, Paul Greene, Chris McNally, Martin Cummins and Andrea Brooks
As Christmas approaches in Hope Valley, Elizabeth (Krakow) prepares for Little Jack’s first Christmas and birthday, surrounded by her closest friends. Despite the friends that want to give Baby Jack a special Christmas, she misses Jack more than ever. Nathan (McGarry) receives a prestigious job offer in Union City but weighs the promotion against the downside of leaving Elizabeth and taking his niece away from Hope Valley. Lucas (McNally) holds a Christmas festival to bring some of his family’s traditions to Hope Valley…and to impress Elizabeth. Carson (Greene) and Faith(Andrea Brooks) face obstacles when they try to reconnect for Christmas, which leads Carson (Greene) to a stranger in need of his help. When a man named Ryder (Massey) visits her store, Corey wonders if she should have left town and followed her dreams of becoming a theater director.
Nostalgic Christmas – October 31
Starring: Brooke D’Orsay and Trevor Donovan
This Christmas, the miracles of the season take the form of sentimental, handcrafted wooden Santas in a small town toy store in North Bay, Maine. Anne Garrison (D’Orsay) seemed to have it all as a driven toy buyer in New York City, but her father’s retirement signaling the closing of the town’s beloved toy store brings the city girl back to her small town roots and perhaps her lost Christmas spirit in the process. While back in town she meets handsome widower, doting father and local mill manager, Keith McClain (Donovan). Through an unexpected turn of events Anne and Keith find themselves planning the town’s annual Christmas festivities together.

In this all-new Christmas special, the town of Beauregard, Alabama will received an extreme Hallmark holiday transformation after experiencing two devastating EF-4 tornadoes earlier this year. The goal of this series is to spread a little cheer for a town that needs it the most during the season.

I’m honestly so excited about this lineup, and it’s not even 100% complete; while there are air-dates and movie titles listed for a few features, we’re still waiting on casting news. As for the previously announced “The Christmas Company” and Amy Grant‘s “When I Think of Christmas”, it appears those titles might be skipping this year’s lineup. I’ll keep you posted.
