One of the movies set to premiere during Hallmark Channel’s 10th Anniversary of Countdown to Christmas celebration this year is “Picture a Perfect Christmas”, which stars Merritt Patterson and Jon Cor. The movie is about a photographer (Patterson) who returns home to care for her ailing grandmother, and gets involved with her neighbor (Cor) who is looking after his nephew.

During the preview I’ve seen courtesy of Hallmark’s preview specials, I can say that I’m already interesting in finding a lot of the cozy sweaters Merritt will wear in the movie–but, I couldn’t resist posting early because I recognized her red blouse from the production stills and had to share the info!

She’s wearing the Ganni Printed Georgette Blouse, a red top with micro black polka dots, matching trim, and slanted ruffled cuffs. The top is currently available at Nordstrom.com and YOOX.com for $124, but who knows how long it will stay in stock.

Update on 12/12/19: This was a really cute movie, and after seeing it, I’m even more excited about the wardrobe worn by Merritt’s character, Sophie. Costume designer, Emily Gray, really created a casually cozy wardrobe without sticking to traditional holiday colors.

The plaid coat that Sophie wears over her Ganni polka dot blouse is a chic vintage-style Vero Moda North Plaid Jacket with a shimmering lapel pin, which is available for $145 at Nordstrom.com.

In the early released production stills, we get a good look at a light peach sweater that Sophie wears for a Christmas market scene. She’s wearing the Vero Moda ‘Aware’ Oversized Funnel Neck Sweater in Natural–available for $59 at ASOS.com.

For her first day visiting with her grandmother, Louise (Paula Shaw), she wears Marc Fisher LTD ‘Alva’ Leather Pointed-Toe Booties in Black.

I was eager to find out the designer of the coral open knit sweater that Sophie wears for a baking scene, so I was thrilled to find that it was still in stock! She wore the Little Moon ‘Gardenia’ Pointelle Crewneck Sweater in Delphine, which is on sale for under $100 at Aritzia.com in the color Sophie wore as well as a few others.

Sophie accessorized the sweater with jewelry from Brooklyn Designs, including the ‘Mariah’ Gold Necklace ($89) and a pair of the ‘Gwen’ Medium Gold Hoop Earrings ($49).

One of my favorite sweaters that we see on Sophie was the cozy white Line the Label Open Knit Sweater in Ecru (exact item pictured above). Unfortunately, it’s already sold out–however, I found a lookalike Joie ‘Yayi’ Sweater at Bloomingdales.com.
