Despite the very different holiday season we’ll be having this year, you can count on NBC to bring some of your most cherished traditions right into your homes with their nostalgic-filled lineup of seasonal programming, which was officially announced today.
Among the network’s holiday offering is the annual “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade”, the tree lighting ceremony for “Christmas at Rockefeller Center” and a viewing of the iconic show, the “Radio City Christmas Spectacular”. NBC will also premiere “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical!” starring Matthew Morrison, “The Voice Holiday Celebration”, the “Saturday Night Live” Thanksgiving and Christmas specials, and of course a few family-fun movies, including Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (both the 1966 animation and the 2000 feature film) and the classic “It’s A Wonderful Life”.

Illumination Presents Minions Holiday Special | Friday, Nov. 27, 8:30-9 p.m.
Illumination presents four new mini-movie escapades along with special guest appearances from some of Illumination’s beloved characters from their “The Secret Life of Pets” and “Sing” franchises.

For eight decades the tree-lighting ceremony has been one of the iconic New York City holiday moments with millions watching across the country in the comfort and safety of their homes. Performers include: Kelly Clarkson, Goo Goo Dolls, Earth, Wind & Fire, Brett Eldredge, Jimmy Fallon, Tori Kelly, Leslie Odom Jr., Dolly Parton, Pentatonix, Dan + Shay, Gwen Stefani and Meghan Trainor.
Radio City Christmas Spectacular – At Home Holiday Special | Wednesday, Dec. 2, 10-11 p.m.
The world famous Rockettes perform in the iconic show that entertains the thousands of theatergoers who visit the famed Rockefeller Center venue each holiday season.
The Voice Holiday Celebration | Thursday, Dec. 3, 8-9 p.m. (repeat Dec. 16 & Dec. 22 at 8 p.m.)
An array of “Voice” coaches past and present, some music superstars and many beloved artists from the “Voice” family perform holiday classics and popular modern favorites. Plus, Season 19 coaches, Blake, Kelly, John and Gwen share some of their favorite holiday traditions and memories.

Matthew Morrison will star as the curmudgeonly creature in a stage production from London’s Troubadour Theatre.
One Night Only: The Best of Broadway | Thursday, Dec. 10, 8-10 p.m. (repeat Dec. 21 at 8 p.m.)
Tony Award-nominated Tina Fey (“Mean Girls”) is set to host this unforgettable night of music celebrating the incredible and resilient Broadway community and featuring songs from the Great Bright Way’s top productions.
Several of Broadway’s best shows will take over the streets of New York City with special performances from the casts of “Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations,” “Chicago,” “Jagged Little Pill,” “Diana: The Musical,” “Jersey Boys,” “Mean Girls,” “Rent” and an appearance by the cast of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” The night will also showcase special sneak peaks at Broadway shows coming in 2021.

The holidays wouldn’t be the same without a rewatching of the classic 1946 film, starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.
Christmas Eve Mass | Thursday, Dec. 24, 11:30 p.m.-1 a.m.
Viewers will be able to watch the Pope Francis-led mass from St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.
