Haul out the holly, the merriest lineup of the year has officially been announced!

On this first day of autumn, Hallmark delivered yuletide cheer with the unveiling of their highly anticipated holiday programming events, the Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas iconic slate and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas celebration — kicking off on Friday, October 21st with 40 all-new original movie premieres on the way!

Returning to lead the fête is huge roster of fan-favorites, including Alison Sweeney, Andrew Walker, Ashley Williams, Barbara Niven, Brennan Elliott, Brooks Darnell, Erin Cahill, Holly Robinson Peete, Jonathan Bennett, Kristoffer Polaha, Luke Macfarlane, Marilu Henner, Nikki DeLoach, Paul Campbell, Rachel Boston, Ryan Paevey, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Taylor Cole, Tyler Hynes, Victor Webster, Wes Brown, Will Kemp, and Lacey Chabert who will star in her record-breaking twelfth Christmas movie for the network!

Viewers will also be treated to some new faces joining the Hallmark holiday family, such as Marlo Thomas, Ann-Margret, Ellen Travolta, Greta Scacchi, Kara Wang, Ledisi, Lynn Whitfield, Lisa Loeb, Margaret Colin, Moira Kelly, Mykelti Williamson, Reginald VelJohnson, Reshma Shetty, Stephen Tobolowsky, Tamala Jones, Tia Carrere and Yael Grobglas.

This lineup is particularly exciting as it includes many firsts for the network, including their first Kwanzaa-focused movie and LGBTQ couple led story. Make way for more uplifting Christmas movies this holiday season as UPtv has revealed the network’s very merry Most Uplifting Christmas Ever lineup, kicking off on Friday, November 4^th!

To celebrate the most joyous time of the year, UPtv will be offering with more than 600 hours of holiday cheer which includes 17 Christmas movie premieres during themed weekends along with the second season of the reality series “Small Town Christmas”, and multi-platinum country artist Josh Turner’s King Size Manger Christmas music special.  You can also expect the return of the holiday staple, GilMORE the Merrier – a Thanksgiving week-long “Gilmore Girls” binge-a-thon that has become a favorite of network viewers across the country each year.

HELLO, FALL! Today marks the official start of the autumn season, and we couldn’t be more relieved to feel a shift in the weather… it’s been a very hot summer where we live, and we could use the chillier days that are on the way.  What are some of your favorite things about fall?  We love visiting the farm to pick up fresh apple cider (and apple cider donuts!) along with a lot of pumpkins. 🍂🍁

Surprisingly, our fall decorations are all up this year, which is something we haven’t really had together in a few years — hopefully that’s a good sign for how organized our holiday season will be.
