The ’12 Movies of Christmas’ are coming to Lifetime this holiday season as the network unwraps the lineup for their iconic programming event, It’s A Wonderful Lifetime, returning November 18th!

Lifetime has 12 all new holiday movies premiering this year that will include Christmas cheer and festive nostalgia as per usual, and there’s even a brand new LMN premiere for December on the merry agenda! Among the lineup: Tia Mowry and Buddy Valastro will be baking spirits bright in Yes, Chef! Christmas; Sarah Drew penned A Cowboy Christmas Romance starring Jana Kramer, Adam Senn and Max Ehrich; Vivica A. Fox and Jackée Harry will star in “A Christmas Intern” while Tatyana Ali, Corey Sevier, and Teri Hatcher will lead the way in their own joyful holiday stories.

Perhaps one of the most highly-anticipated movies would be Ladies of the ‘80s: A Divas Christmas, starring big and small screen icons Loni Anderson, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray, Donna Mills, and Nicollette Sheridan. To add an extra-dose of candy cane memory lane, ’80s pop sensation Tiffany (“I Think We’re Alone Now”) will perform the “Ladies of the ’80s” theme song—written by Song Writer Hall of Fame’s Steve Dorff and Michael Jay, and produced by Steve Dorff.

Harry and Ali will also perform original songs in their films, A Christmas Intern and The Holiday Proposal Plan, respectively while Ehrich will showcase his musical talents with “All I Want Is You (Big Sky Remix)” for A Cowboy Christmas Romance.

Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw is gearing up to release his very first holiday EP next month with “A Classic Christmas,“ a six-song EP with a bluesy, soulful take on traditional yuletide favorites—including, “Silent Night,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” and “White Christmas.”

“My favorite record of all time is ‘White Christmas’ by Bing Crosby. It may be the greatest record ever made. It happens to be a damn good movie, too,” said DeGraw. “I decided to make a Christmas record because I love classic Christmas songs. It’s got a special place in my heart and makes me feel like I’m with my family whenever I put it on. I listen to it all year round.”

“A Classic Christmas” will be available on October 13th, and you can currently pre-save your copy.

In addition to the release, DeGraw will also be performing the songs live for select audiences during “Christmas in the City,“ a short residency at Café Carlyle inside the Carlyle Hotel in New York City. We always look forward to seeing the beautiful key art posters that get created for the Hallmark holiday slate each year. Gone are the days of a traditional wintry Christmas background with our stars clad in red and green.  While those were pretty and festive, this new direction allows each movie to stand out while retaining the magic of the season—as much it can in a poster!

There are several posters created for the 2023 lineup of all-new movies coming to Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas lineups (which just got announced this week!), as well as the Hallmark Movies Now’s Movies & Mistletoe exclusive premieres. We can barely contain our excitement because the most festive Christmas movie announcement of the year is finally here! ✨🎄✨

Hallmark has unveiled this year’s holiday lineup, which kicks off on Friday, October 20th, and it’s packed with 40 all-new, original premieres spreading cheer across Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas events as well as Movies & Mistletoe exclusives on the subscription streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now!

The network’s reigning ‘Christmas Queen,’ Lacey Chabert will reunite with former “Party of Five” costars Scott Wolf and Jennifer Aspen in two separate movies—with Wolf in “A Merry Scottish Christmas” and with Aspen in “Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up,” the follow-up to last year’s hit!  Bethany Joy Lenz will join Kristoffer Polaha in “A Biltmore Christmas,” Janel Parrish and Tyler Hynes will co-star in “Never Been Chris’d,” and “Good Witch” co-stars Catherine Bell and James Denton will have their own on-screen reunion in “Christmas on Cherry Lane.”

More fan-favorite stars will return to sleigh as they lead new movies, including: Benjamin Ayres, Jonathan Bennett, Krystal Joy Brown, Warren Christie, Cindy Busby, Erin Cahill, Paul Campbell, Nikki DeLoach, Brooke D’Orsay, Jaicy Elliot, Brennan Elliott, Luke Macfarlane, Niall Matter, Barbara Niven, Ryan Paevey, Brendan Penny, Kristoffer Polaha, Michael Rady, Ronnie Rowe Jr., Kimberley Sustad, Andrew Walker, Victor Webster, and many others!

There will also be plenty of new faces in all-new movies, such as Chris Carmack, Erica Cerra, Mark Ghanimé, Humberly Gonzalez, Grace Leer, Mishael Morgan, William Moseley, Jim O’Heir, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Phylicia Rashad, Vincent Rodriguez III, and Emily Tennant among others.  Former “One Tree Hill” star Bryan Greenberg will join the network alongside Vic Michaelis and Rick Hoffman in this year’s Hanukkah film, “Round and Round.”

Merry Thanksgiving Weekend, will return on Thanksgiving night, November 23rd with the premiere of “Catch Me if You Claus” starring Italia Ricci and Macfarlane, and continues all weekend with double feature premieres at 6 p.m. ET/PT and 8 p.m. ET/PT each night.

Word on the merry street is there will be some Easter Eggs in this year’s features, including surprise appearances from familiar faces, nods to Hallmark past movies and iconic roles!

We have reached 100 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! Today is a significant step towards the holiday season, and in our household, it serves as the perfect day to really plan the festivities awaiting us. For what is quite possibly one of the most exciting holiday announcements, so far… CHER IS RELEASING HER FIRST CHRISTMAS ALBUM!  Can you hear our screams of joy through the screen?

We are big fans of Cher in the Lolly Christmas household, so you can best believe we’re filled with yuletide cheer due to this musical news from the “Goddess of Pop.”

Simply titled Christmas, Cher’s new holiday album is expected to feature additional big names such as Darlene Love, Michael Bublé, Tyga, Cyndi Lauper, and Stevie Wonder.  Although a tracklisting has not been released yet, the album is said to include traditional holiday favorites as well as a brand new track called “DJ Play a Christmas Song.”

Christmas by Cher will be release on October 20th as both a CD and vinyl edition. You can collect alternate covers—including 4 different Target exclusive covers and an Amazon exclusive cover!

The first full holiday programming announcement of the season is finally here, and it’s as uplifting as it is merry! UPtv will return in November with the annual Most Uplifting Christmas Ever event that will give viewers 45 days of Christmas programming filled with 85 titles—including 8 movie premieres and an all-new Gaither music special, A Christmas Homecoming.

The holiday cheer will officially kickoff on Friday, November 3rd and will premiere its first Christmas movie of the season, We’re Scrooged, starring Tamara Duarte (Wynonna Earp) and Andrew Bushell (Record Breaking Christmas) on Sunday, November 5th!

In addition to the uplifting slate, UPtv’s subscription streaming service UP Faith & Family also begins Christmas on November 3rd with over 200 Christmas favorites, part of Cozy UP to Christmas.
