In the upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie, “Christmas Under the Stars”, Autumn Reeser stars as Julie, a single mother and astronomy teacher who meets Nick (Jesse Metcalfe), a recently unemployed investment banker who takes a job at a Christmas tree lot.

This heart-warming story is sure to be filled with love, hope, and lots of Christmas spirit, but I’m here right now to talk about some of the fashion we can expect in the movie!

According to PEOPLE, Vanessa Hudgens is returning to Netflix next Christmas with the sequel to her 2018 hit movie, “The Princess Switch” where she played the dual roles of Stacy De Novo, an American baker who gets invited to participate in a baking competition in the fictional European nation of Belgravia, and Duchess Margaret, who convinces Stacy to switch lives in an effort to achieve a bit of normalcy in her life.

In this sequel titled “The Princess Switch: Switched Again”, naturally, Hudgens will take on a third lookalike character. Things are sure to get really interesting now!

Erin Krakow and Luke Macfarlane lead Hallmark’s new party-planning holiday romance “Sense, Sensibility & Snowmen”, which tells the story of an event planner named Ella (Krakow) who clashes with her client, Edward (Macfarlane), a not-so-jolly toy company CEO.

This movie has a lot of great style moments…a lot, and I was thrilled to find details on many different looks to share with all of you—including this gorgeous green coat worn for the official promo photos and for a sweet scene in the movie.  Krakow, as Ella, wore the ZARA Neon Masculine Coat, which is currently on sale at Zara.com.  I loved the brighter shade of this festive color!

With the holiday season quickly approaching, ION Television has revealed the lineup for ‘Your Home for the Holidays’–the return of their ultra-jolly programming schedule, which will include several brand new Christmas movies lead by many of your favorite stars, including: Vivica A. Fox, Elisabeth Harnois, Leah Pipes, Cindy Sampson and Robin Dunne!

ION will kick off the season on Sunday, December 1st with the first premiere in a slate that will include 6 new movies and 25 returning favorites that are all set to air through Christmas Eve–premieres will take place on Saturdays and Sundays. 

“Our holiday movie schedule continues to prove its worth to both viewers and advertisers and remains an integral part of ION Television’s overall programming strategy,” said Brandon Burgess, ION Media Chairman and CEO. “ION truly has become a ‘go-to’ destination for holiday movie fans, and we’re excited to carry on this tradition.”

Cirque du Soleil has announced its first-ever Christmas show, “‘Twas the Night Before…”, a modern spin on a classic holiday tale that is sure to be a festive and entertaining show for the whole family.

In this show, we join Isabella, ‘a curious girl who’s become jaded by the hoopla surrounding Christmas, as she is whisked away to an upside-down, inside-out world where she meets characters inspired by the original timeless poem.’

Soleil Moon Frye is starring in a Lifetime Christmas movie this year that will be part of the annual It’s a Wonderful Lifetime holiday programming event. In “Staging Christmas”, Lori (Frye) is intrigued when a wealthy widower named Everett (George Stults) asks her to stage his home for the holidays to cheer up his daughter, Maddie.

In a early sneak peek of the film, we see Lori dressed for a holiday party in a stunning sequined red gown that’s perfect for a glamorous Christmas event!

She’s wearing the Mac Duggal Sequin Sequin Slit Gown in Chili Pepper, which is currently available for $338 on Nordstrom.com. It’s still available in the red shade as well as black.

Real-life couple Dylan Minnette (of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why and LA rock band Wallows, Wallows) and Lydia Night (of the California punk rock band The Regrettes) are prepping for Christmas early by releasing their first song together, which just happens to be a holiday tune. 

Minnette and Night’s voices blend seamlessly on “Holiday-ish”, a festive bop with an old-school flavor that will have you humming along as you deck the halls!

If you’re a fan of One Direction, you’re in for one festive musical treat!

Former member Liam Payne surprised fans with the announcement of his brand new single, “All I Want (For Christmas)”, last night from his album, LP1! The singer gets emotional on the hopeful holiday ballad, co-written by Phil Cook, James Newman and Sam Preston, that is sure to connect with listeners who are currently dealing with a bit of heartbreak this season.

Brooke D’Orsay returns to Hallmark again this holiday season with her film, “Nostalgic Christmas” for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. D’Orsay plays Anne in this tale, opposite Trevor Donovan, about two strangers who are brought together with the help of a little Christmas magic.

In early promos for the movie, we see D’Orsay in character and glam in a pretty red wrap dress; she’s wearing the BCBGeneration Cocktail Twist Surplice Knit Dress.

Grenier and Doubleday for CHRISTMAS AT GRACELAND: HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS | Photos and screengrabs: Crown Media

Hallmark is heading back to Graceland for an all-new holiday story and cast of characters for the 10th Anniversary of Countdown to Christmas — Kaitlin Doubleday and Adrian Grenier star in “Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays”, which will premiere on Hallmark Channel.

We still have a little bit of time before we get to see this movie and delve into the festive fashion from it but, I noticed that Doubleday, playing the role of Harper, will wear a gown in the film that is also featured in another film on the 2019 Countdown to Christmas lineup!

In the early promos for the movie, we see Harper in the Betsy & Adam ‘Ellie’ Scuba Crepe Long Gown in Red, an elegant off-the-shoulder design with cascading ruffle detail down the back. This gown also comes in Pine Green, which is worn by Jill Wagner in “Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses”!
