I was finally able to catch an airing of the new Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, “Christmas Everlasting” with with Tatyana Ali, and let me just say: it did not disappoint!

It was heartwarming …and it pulled at your heartstrings.

In the movie, Ali’s character Lucy returns to her hometown of Nilson’s Bay, Wis. to attend the funeral and handle the estate of her sister, Alice, who recently passed away. According to her will, Alice states that in order for Lucy to inherit the family home, she must live there for 30 days through the holidays. Lucy also uncovers surprising news about her sister.

I noticed immediately that, in one of the scenes, Lucy wears a pretty dark green dress that I had previously seen on Candace Cameron Bure in “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas”.

She’s wearing the Ted Baker ‘Dorlean’ Knit Dress, which is still available at Nordstrom.com for $259.

Now that you have the scoop on how you can dress like Noelle (Candace Cameron Bure) from Hallmark Channel’s “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas”, why not decorate your tree like her too?!

I couldn’t help but fall in love with the decorations used in the film on both Noelle’s tree at home and the tree she decorated with Jake (Luke Macfarlane) at the fire station.

With Balsam Hill being a sponsor of the Hallmark networks, there’s no real surprise that the decor came from the iconic Christmas retailer, but I wanted to spotlight a few pieces that you might be interested in incorporating into your own home.

In her seventh Christmas movie for Hallmark Channel, Lacey Chabert starred in “Pride, Prejudice, and Mistletoe” as Darcy Fitzwilliam, a successful businesswoman who returns home for Christmas and ends up working on big holiday family event with her former rival.

I’m still on the hunt for some of the outfits Lacey wore in the movie, but I couldn’t wait to spotlight a few items that I quickly recognized while watching the premiere a few nights ago.

In one of the first scenes, we see Darcy dressed in a beautiful burgundy coat that’s accented with a beautiful cream-colored plaid scarf. She wore a classic luxury must-have item — the Burberry Gauze Giant Check Wool & Silk Scarf, which is still available at Saks Fifth Avenue for $390.

The moment I saw the promo for Hallmark Channel’s “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas” starring Candace Cameron Bure, I knew it would be one of the Countdown to Christmas movies I’d be most eager to see. Who doesn’t love a story about magical shoes, love, faith and Christmas?

Not only was the movie great, but Noelle Carpenter’s (Bure) style throughout the whole film, curated by costume designer Marya Duplaga, was so eye-catching that I had to scope out all of the details for a full out ‘Festive Fashion’ event!

December is finally here!

We’re less than a month away from Christmas; I’m both super excited and a little bit sad that the fun is flying by so quickly.  My town had their annual tree lighting yesterday, so that was a really nice way to officially kick off the month. Shockingly enough, I’m not done with all of my decorating, in fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been this late with getting everything up…but, I guess that’s proof of how busy this season has been for me — and why I need some holiday relaxation.

I plan to crank up some Christmas music while I finish up everything this weekend as well as enjoy a few holiday movies and television specials and, of course, nibble on some sugar cookies.

It’s been an exciting ride of holiday programming on Freeform these past two months, but I think we’re ready for the 25 Days of Christmas lineup now, amirite?

Freeform dropped the full schedule for their iconic and beloved 25 Days of Christmas programming today, and I’m pretty excited to share it with you all. Now, I’ll admit I was kind of disappointed to not see some films on the roster this year, but I’m excited about all of the original movies and specials on the way — as well as new network premieres, so it all balances out!

Keep in mind that 25 Days of Christmas isn’t limited to Freeform anymore — it will span across ABC (hello, CMA Country Christmas!) and Disney Channel as well. Details aren’t included in this particular post, but be on the lookout for more information on the lineup for those networks.

If you missed the premiere of the original film, “The Truth About Christmas”, when it aired over the weekend, fear not, because it’s included in the new lineup.

We’re freshly into the holiday season, and we already have news for next year’s celebration!

Forbes announced yesterday that the Hallmark Channel and its sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, known for their lineup of holiday-themed romantic comedies and hugely successful Christmas programming, are currently in the process of creating two films for the 2019 festive lineup that will celebrate Hanukkah as well!

“Holiday Date”, which is currently in the early stages of script development, will have “Hannukah elements … which is a lot of fun as Hanukkah and Christmas overlap in 2019,” a spokeswoman for Crown Media explained.

The last time Hallmark included a movie that included Hanukkah was 2012’s “Hitched for the Holidays”, which starred Joey Lawrence, Emily Hampshire and Marilu Henner. The comedy was about a young couple who fake their engagement after meeting on a dating website to keep their families from meddling in their love lives during the holidays.

I can’t wait to see these new movies when they premiere next year!

I love the music, the movies, and festive episodes of my favorite shows, but there’s something very nostalgic, for me, about watching holiday specials during Christmas time.

I love all types; comedy, concerts, and behind-the-scenes looks at how other people ring in the season with their loved ones.  Hallmark Channel has giving us all of the above, and next week they’re sending us on a jolly journey with Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete as their family celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with a special episode of the original docuseries, “Meet the Peetes”!

In the “Meet the Peetes Christmas Special”, viewers will join the Peetes as they prepare for their annual Christmas party extravaganza! There will be merry mayhem, decor galore, and more.

Make sure you tune in to see all of the yuletide fun when the “Meet the Peetes Christmas Special” premieres Monday, December 3rd at 7:00 PM/6:00c only on the Hallmark Channel.

The three-time Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling a capella supergroup PENTATONIX — wow, that’s a mouthful — will be returning to NBC this season for their third holiday musical special, “Pentatonix: A Not So Silent Night”!

We’ll join PTX (as they’re often referred) members Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee in Las Vegas as they spread cheer along the legendary Strip, including the iconic Caesars Palace and the stunning Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. Along the way, they’ll be joined by additional guests to help them celebrate, including Kelly Clarkson and Maren Morris. Both singers appear on the latest Pentatonix holiday album, Christmas is Here!.
