To kick off Lifetime’s major holiday programming slated for this year, Melissa Joan Hart will host “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime Preview Special”, which will give viewers a sneak peek at all of the original Christmas movie premieres that are headed to the network starting November 21st.

Hart, who will star in “A Very Nutty Christmas”, isn’t just giving us an inside look at the festive line-up–she’ll be doing it in a clever way that’s a perfect (and classic) nod at the season!

Synopsis: What if Lifetime never made Christmas movies? In this special, hosted by Melissa Joan Hart, we will be taken on a journey that explores how terrible life would be without Lifetime Christmas movies to bring us holiday cheer. Melissa will be visited by the “host” of Lifetime Christmas Past, Present, and Future, and along the way, she will preview the 14 exciting movies that are coming to Lifetime this holiday season. Once this special is over, you won’t be able to imagine a world without the magic of Lifetime Christmas.

“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime Preview Special” airs November 17th at 10pm EST/PST on Lifetime.

Back in July, the Hallmark Channel aired the “Christmas: A First Look” Preview Special hosted by Lacey Chabert that gave viewers a peek at some of the movies set to premiere on the network and sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries this holiday season. It was very exciting to get a little snippet of what yuletide cheer was in store for all of us, but due to the high volume of interest as well as the amount of films set to debut, Hallmark will be airing another special to talk about some of the recently announced films.

“Christmas: A Second Look Preview Special” will provide a continuation of the sneak peeks for the Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas original movies and, this time, it will be hosted by Kellie Pickler. The country music top-charter will make her own Countdown to Christmas debut this November in “Christmas in Graceland”.

“Christmas: A Second Look” this Saturday, September 29th at 11PM / 10c on Hallmark Channel.

Hey UK Christmas lovers–there’s now a channel where you can watch Christmas movies 24/7!

According to Do You Remember, there is a brand new channel titled True Christmas that airs holiday movies (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) around the clock. That’s right – holiday movies 24 hours a day!  There’s a lot of variety too–including new cheerful movies as well as plenty of festive favorites from the past…I’m talking as far back as 30+ years!

True Christmas is available through the UK digital platforms: Freeview (Channel 62), Virgin (Channel 424) and Sky UK Channel 319). There is also a full programming guide available at TVGuide.co.uk.

The Lifetime network is going to be a very special place for fans of the hit television series “One Tree Hill” this holiday season! The long-running series had its finale in 2012, but clearly it’s the show that keeps giving even long after its ended and, this year, its former stars are spreading some yuletide cheer! Not only will five cast members reunite for “The Christmas Contract” airing on Thanksgiving, but their former co-star Bethany Joy Lenz will premiere her movie “Poinsettias for Christmas” the following night along with another OTH-er, Sharon Lawrence!

More ‘OTH family’ members, as fans of the show refer to them, Stephen Colletti (“Hometown Christmas”), Daphne Zuniga (“A Christmas Arrangement”), and Shantel VanSanten (“Love for Christmas”) will also have movies part of the “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday programming.

Are you ready for another week of holiday surprises? Lifetime just revealed the line-up for their “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday programming, and let’s just say…it ‘sleighs’.

In addition to 14 all-new original premieres, 9 acquired films will be airing throughout the holiday season. Not only will Lifetime have some serious yuletide cheer, but the films also feature many stars that will be bringing you some nostalgic holiday vibes this year–including that major “One Tree Hill” movie reunion I told you about this summer with Hilarie Burton, Danneel Ackles, Robert Buckley, Antwon Tanner and Tyler Hilton, and even more OTH stars in separate films–including Bethany Joy Lenz, Sharon Lawrence, Daphne Zuniga, Stephen Colletti and Shantel VanSanten.

The OTH cast members will also sit down for a festive holiday special with surprise guests!

Stars from “The Cosby Show” (Tempestt Bledsoe, Keshia Knight Pulliam), “Sister, Sister” (Tia Mowry-Hardict, Jackée Harry, Tim Reid) and “A Different World” (Kadeem Hardison, Jasmine Guy) reunite for movies and “7th Heaven” (Barry Watson, Beverley Mitchell), “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” (Melissa Joan Hart, Carolina Rhea) and “Grey’s Anatomy” (Chandra Wilson, Sarah Drew, Loretta Devine) alums will be featured in solo films along the way — along with more big names like Toni Braxton, Tatyana Ali, Cheryl Ladd, June Squibb, Megan Hilty, and John Schneider among others!

After getting a Christmas in September surprise yesterday with the full line-up of all the Hallmark movies coming this holiday season, LeAnn Rimes decided to drop us goodies to further fuel the hype.

The Grammy award-winning Country singer is making her debut in Hallmark Channel’s upcoming original movie “It’s Christmas, Eve” during the Countdown to Christmas line-up…and she’s releasing a soundtrack to go with it! That’s right, you can now pre-order the “It’s Christmas, Eve” soundtrack where you’ll get instant access to the song, “The Gift Of Your Love” and a limited amount of early pre-orders will receive an autographed copy of the record.

Hey, hey–The Monkees are releasing a Christmas album!

Rolling Stone announced today that the iconic music group is set to make their first holiday album, Christmas Party, and it’s set to release on October 12th.

Christmas Party will include new songs written by Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo (“What Would Santa Do”) and Andy Partridge of XTC (“Unwrap You At Christmas”); Scott McCaughey of The Minus 5 and R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck wrote the title track–they also play on a cover of Big Star’s “Jesus Christ”. The album is produced by Fountain of Wayne’s Adam Schlesinger.

There is nothing like celebrating the middle of the week with a huge dose of Christmas spirit — thanks to the exclusive Entertainment Weekly dropped this morning unveiling information on ALL 36 37 holiday movies that will premiere on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries this year!

There will be many of your festive favorites returning, including: Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Jessica Lowndes, Alicia Witt and Brennan Elliott, but there will also be Hallmark Christmas newbies that ‘yule’ love like Chad Michael Murray, Corey Sevier, Emily Osment, Ryan Paevey and Scottie Thompson.

Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris will also be starring in a movie together, so if you loved seeing them work together in 2012’s Christmas with Holly, this is sure to be a treat!

One of my favorite things about this reveal is that we see that Hallmark is taking a huge step in the right direction by having racial diversity in the leading roles. Over the years, viewers have requested this–last year Alexa and Carlos PenaVega lead one out of 33 premieres, but I’m thrilled to say Jerrika Hinton, Christian Vincent, Tatyana Ali, Dondre T. Whitfield, Christina Milian, Mark Taylor, Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Duane Henry will star in 4 of the films, and the PenaVegas will each return in solo films. I hope this will inspire even more next year!

There has been a lot of chatter about upcoming holiday TV movies, but now we have something joyous to catch in theaters…but, we’re going to have to wait until Christmas 2019.

Emilia Clarke, who gained fame from the hit HBO series “Games of Thrones”, and “Crazy Rich Asians” breakout star Henry Golding are joining forces for Universal Pictures “Last Christmas”, directed by Paul Feig (“A Simple Favor”).

While the plot is currently under wraps, THR notes that it will be a holiday romance set in London, and that the screenplay is penned by Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings.

This cast and team are just as exciting as the movie itself!
