Spring has officially begun, but my mind is already on Christmas — and, naturally, so is Hallmark’s! According to Entertainment Weekly, both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will unveil 34 new original movies this holiday season, which is a new record for the pair of networks as last year they debuted a combined 33 films.

For the Hallmark Channel, we’ll see 22 of the films debut during the “Countdown to Christmas” holiday programming starting October 27th while the remaining 12 will air for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas” slate beginning November 4th.

Following 2016’s “The Mistletoe Promise” and 2017’s “The Mistletoe Inn”, word on the street is that the third part of Richard Paul Evans’ holiday anthology series, “The Mistletoe Secret”, will be adapted for the network this year.  Leading lady favorites Danica McKellar, Candace Cameron Bure and Lacey Chabert are rumored to head up new films while Kellie Martin leads one for HMM titled “Vet”, described as “an emotional story of heroism and homecoming.”

Christmas is over [ insert sad face here ], but that hasn’t stopped Bethany Joy Lenz from feeling the holiday spirit! The “Snowed-Inn for Christmas” actress had fun morning with her pups as she sang along to songs from “Hamilton” in a recent Instagram video post while wearing a cute (and festive) red, black and white plaid onesie!

Joy wore the Mae Women’s Microfleece Hooded Union Suit with Poms in Checkered Plaid, which is available for $38.00 at Amazon.com.

Christmas Eve is tomorrow, and I’ll be spending the day with loved ones doing our traditional last minute activities before Santa Claus arrives! But, I was loving all of the sweaters on “LIVE with Kelly and Ryan” this week so much that I had to pop in and dish the scoop on those first.

On Monday, Anderson Cooper played co-host and, during one of the segments, he and Kelly teamed up for “Merry Money” against select audience members where they caught ping pong balls in their interactive sweaters. For the game, they wore the Tipsy Elves Beer Pong Ugly Christmas Sweater ($80-$83) and they’re available in both Women and Men’s sizes.

It’s no surprise that Hanson loves Christmas, from their highly successful 1997 Christmas album “Snowed In”, which has become a classic–at least, in my family (and Ryan Gosling’s!), to their yearly release of festive ornaments and their annual Christmas livestream special events…these guys seem to always have the spirit of the season in their hearts.

In honor of their new Christmas album that was 20 years in the making, “Finally It’s Christmas”–I thought it would be fun to spotlight some of their festive studio gear.

I love seeing new holiday movies each and every year–whether it’s on television, in the theaters, or even discovering a Christmas film I’ve never seen before, but there’s something about re-imagining the timeless favorites that always gives me that warm festive feeling. Next November you’ll find me at my nearest movie theater for the opening weekend premiere of Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms”!

That’s right, Disney is bringing the Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky classic ballet (based off of E. T. A. Hoffmann’s “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King”) back to the big screen and it’s got an amazing cast–including: Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Mackenzie Foy as Clara along with Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, Richard E. Grant, Ellie Bamber, Jack Whitehall, Charles “Lil Buck” Riley and American ballet dancer Misty Copeland as The Ballerina, naturally.

Hallmark Channel recently premiered one of the latest original films for their annual block of holiday programming, Countdown to Christmas. Tom Everett Scott and Brooke Burns co-starred in “Christmas Connection”, a charming movie about how an unaccompanied minor brought the flight attendant (Burns) who looked after her and her single father (Scott) together for a Christmas they’ll never forget.

While I enjoyed watching the movie, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of regal winter coat that Sydney (Burns) wore throughout it; a belted wool coat in a gorgeous eggplant shade with an asymmetric zip closure that had exposed gold zipper detailing when you kept the neckline undone.

This week’s episode of “Riverdale”, the last one before winter break, and it was Christmas time in the small, mysterious town! The episode, entitled 2×09 “Chapter Twenty-Two: Silent Night, Deadly Night” provided us with a lot of intense drama, some surprises and a few frightening moments…and a little bit of a holiday cheer? Kinda-sorta.

Regardless, we got some cute holiday outfit inspo, and I would love to share a couple of finds with you all. Check out some looks worn in the episode, and find out where you can buy it for yourself or as a gift for a fashion lover and/or a “Riverdale” fanatic.

Gwen Stefani simple dazzled during her holiday special, “Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas”, which aired last night on NBC.

The singer performed songs from her first holiday album, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” and was joined by celebrity friends (including, Chelsea Handler and Ken Jeong!) for a few skits in-between.

Gwen’s wardrobe styling team Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn dressed her in an array of glamorous looks–from the fun sparkling candy cane romper (complete with a Christmas bow in her hair!), a glittering Mrs. Claus look and a toy soldier costume–to glorious gowns like a lace red tiered design, a shimmering white tea-length number and a fairy tale tulle gown that she wore for a duet with Ne-Yo!

Jessica Lowndes returned for her third Hallmark Christmas movie–this time for the sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Lowndes stars in “Magical Christmas Ornaments” as Marie, a book editor that has her Christmas spirit reawakened thanks to her mother mailing her family Christmas ornaments, which bring positive changes to her life each time one arrives–including a possible romance.

In the film, Marie and her neighbor Nate (Brendan Penny) attend a holiday party where they wear Christmas sweaters, which I was able to track down to give you the details on how to get them for yourself this season.
