Last night the Hallmark Channel aired an original new holiday movie for their Countdown to Christmas line-up, “The Christmas Cottage” starring Merritt Patterson and Steve Lund. The romantic film focused on Lacey Quinn (Patterson) as a cynical Maid of Honour for her best friend who is required to decorate a honeymoon cottage for the soon-to-be newlyweds…but, then she gets snowed in at the cottage with the handsome brother of the bride.

One of my favorite new Hallmark Channel movies would most definitely be “Miss Christmas” starring Brooke d’Orsay and Marc Blucas. In the film, which recently premiered during the Countdown to Christmas programming, Holly Khun (d’Orsay) is a professional ‘tree finder’ for Chicago’s Radcliffe Tree lighting–think of it as the fictional version of the Millennium Park tree, and she’s on a mission to find the perfect tree.  When Holly receives a letter from a small town young boy promising his family’s tree, Holly heads straight there…only problem is, the boy’s dad (Blucas) isn’t willing to part with this tree.

Lacey Chabert is a staple when it comes to Hallmark Christmas movies, so it was a treat to watch her in this year’s “The Sweetest Christmas” as a struggling pastry chef that makes to the finales of the American Gingerbread Competition in this sweet holiday story.

Lacey’s character, Kylie Watson, has a very casual winter style and minimally wears jewelry, and one of her favorite pieces – which was worn practically the whole movie – was a delicate druzy pendant necklace. Candace Cameron Bure returned to Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas for her ninth holiday film with the network…and she played dual roles! That’s right, she starred in the new original film “Switched For Christmas” as estranged twin sisters, Kate Lockhart and Chris Dixon, who swap places to organize Christmas events and see how the other half lives for a few days which might just strengthened their bond that dwindled when their mother passed a year prior.

It was a cute movie filled with holiday cheer, family bonding, romance, and a lot of great clothes!

Gwen Stefani looked like a shimmering snowflake as she danced across the stage this morning performing “White Christmas”—off her new album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas—during this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Celebrity fashion stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn dressed the singer in a crystal-encrusted Yousef Aljasmi mini dress, which featured a sparkling striped effect against a flesh tone base and an overlay of crystal fringe elements.

Basically, it she looked like she was dripping in crystals that spun around her with every twirl!

Anna Kendrick is starring in a new Disney Christmas movie called “Noelle” (previously “Nicole)”, and she’s been hard at work filming scenes these past few weeks on location in Vancouver, Canada.

“Noelle” tells the story of Santa Claus’ daughter who finds herself needing to take over the family business. Not much else about the plot has been leaked, but we’ve gotten a first look at Kendrick’s costume thanks to her Instagram posts.

Gwen Stefani took the stage on NBC’s “Today” this morning to perform her rendition of the Eartha Kitt classic, “Santa Baby”, from her new holiday album, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas”.

The singer wore a glamorously festive dress by Celia Kritharioti, a sparkling mini dress that features over-the-top feather embroidered sleeves from the designer’s Glam Queens Couture Collection.

Autumn Reeser stars as Willa Fairchild is the upcoming Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ holiday film “A Bramble House Christmas” as part of their “The Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas” programming. In the film, which is based off of the novel by CJ Carmichael, Finn Conrad (David Hayn-Jones) becomes suspicious when he’s settling his father’s estate and finds out that his father left his nurse $50,000 after knowing her for less than two months before his passing.

The film is sure to be a good mystery and I can’t wait to check it out. Production stills have already been released so we’ve sort of gotten a sneak peek of what to expect–visually, at least, and in the photos we see Willa (Reeser) posed next to a beautifully decorated tree wearing the teal BCBGMAXAZRIA ‘Daina’ Dress.

If you were a fan of the 2015 comedy “Daddy’s Home” starring ‎Will Ferrell‎ and Mark Wahlberg then I’m sure you’re as excited as I am to see the sequel that hit theaters nationwide last week!

“Daddy’s Home 2” takes place during the holiday season, so there’s this great scene where are dressed in a pair of ‘ugly Christmas sweaters’, and just like they did with “Office Christmas Party”, Tipsy Elves have created replicas of the sweaters for purchase through their website!
