Chris Isaak announced last month that he would be releasing a brand new Christmas album this year called “Everybody Knows It’s Christmas,“ featuring the lead single “Almost Christmas”.  This will be the second Christmas album by the GRAMMY-nominated singer and actor, who is known for his smoldering vocals; he previously released the chart-topper, simply titled “Christmas”, back in 2004.

“The holidays are such a special time for me and the pandemic left us all so isolated. I felt like a holiday album was a great opportunity to bring people together this year. I had so much fun making this album and designing the cover,” he said in an official statement. “It was a joy to work with Dave Cobb and we worked in his iconic RCA studio where John Prine had placed a year-round Christmas tree to keep the holidays alive. I loved that idea so I’m going to keep that spirit alive.”

Lindsey Stirling is gearing up to release her second Christmas album this year!

The award-winning violinist announced on her Instagram recently that her new 14-track holiday album, “Snow Waltz,“ would be released on October 7th and would be accompanied by a North American concert tour this fall.

This album follows Stirling’s first festive venture, 2017’s “Warmer in the Winter”.

“Snow Waltz” covers a fun mix of holiday classics and new songs, and also features duet appearances with Bonnie McKee, Frawley and David Archuleta. So far, she has released the song “Ice Storm” and will premiere the music video for the title track on Friday.

After releasing holiday singles over the year, it’s finally time for Debbie Gibson to release her first-ever album to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, and it’s coming out later this month! The singer will release “Winterlicious” on October 21st, an eclectic mix of dazzling classics re-imagined to cozy originals to celebrate the season.

There will be some fun features on the album, including Debbie’s longtime friend, Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block—the two sing together on “Heartbreak Holiday,” a song dedicated to those who are missing a special someone during the holidays. She also worked with her father – nicknamed ‘Daddy Joe’ – on a new rendition of “White Christmas.”

It’s “Mean Girls” day, which is very fitting for the launch of the official trailer for Lindsay Lohan‘s return to acting! The actress is starring in Netflix‘s holiday romance, “Falling for Christmas,“ co-starring Chord Overstreet (“Glee”).

In the movie, Lindsay plays a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress who gets into a skiing accident and suffers from amnesia, and then finds herself in the care of a handsome blue-collar lodge owner (Overstreet) and his precocious daughter (Olivia Perez) in the days leading up to Christmas. Jack Wagner and George Young also star.

Anyone who is familiar with the gorgeous vocals of Joss Stone knows she’s not only the real deal, but also an ideal singer to release a holiday album—and that’s exactly what she has done this year. The Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter has just released her very first album for the holiday season, “Merry Christmas, Love” which was released digitally yesterday.

This album was an important release for Joss as she has a lifelong love of the holiday season, and she wanted a record that encourages families all over the world to join in song together, “It was ambitious to do this, but it was such a joy to make my dream project come true,“ she said in an official statement. The singer will be expanding her own family next month with the birth of her son, “It felt like he was part of the album, and that made it even sweeter,“ she said. “I feel like two wonderful babies came from this experience.”

The lead single from the album is a rendition of the classic, “What Christmas Means To Me,” but Joss has also dropped the lyric video of the holiday staple, “Winter Wonderland”. You can check them both out below along with the tracklisting of the 16-song album.

HELLO, OCTOBER!

As one of our favorite months of the year, we welcome October with open arms!  We plan to spend every moment of the month soaking in the fall flavors, festivities and traditions as we prepare for the holiday season that will be here before we know it!  Don’t forget that the Christmas movies officially begin airing on television this month, too!  We wish you a wonderful new month.  🍁

The Goo Goo Dolls released their first Christmas album, It’s Christmas All Over, last year and had so much fun with it that they decided to make it twice as nice this year!

The band announced that the deluxe edition of the festive record will be released on November 5th and will include a never-before-heard cover of the holiday staple “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm” and a brand new original track called “One Last Song About Christmas” — the later which was recently released!

Three original Christmas movies and a holiday cook-off are coming OWN for the Holidays this year at the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network!  For the third consecutive year, the network is celebrating the season of giving with heartwarming holiday movies along with a festive special to fill you with cheer.

Up first? The kick-off of a reality competition cook-off!

Kym Whitley will host “The Big Holiday Food Fight,” a five-episode series that will air Tuesday nights beginning in November, which will serve as a festive lead-in for the three original Christmas movies starring network favorites, Meagan Holder (“Cooking Up Christmas”), Brad James (“For Better or Worse”), Deborah Joy Winans (“Greenleaf”), Kendrick Cross (“Ambitions”), Andra Fuller (“The Haves and the Have Nots”) and Rhyon Nicole Brown (“For Better or Worse”)!
