We’re in the merry midst of Christmas movie premieres but, we can still talk about what’s coming next holiday season, right? I can’t tell you how many emails I received from fans wanting Brennan Elliott in a new Hallmark Christmas movie, and I’m thrilled to share that he will be… in 2020!

The network favorite shared on Instagram over the weekend that he would soon head to Vienna, Austria to begin filming Christmas in Vienna with Sarah Drew (Lifetime’s “Twinkle All the Way”).

Is there such thing as watching too many Christmas movies during the holiday season? I don’t think so, which is why I’m thrilled to announce the next network getting into the festive spirit with a block of holiday programming full of cheer.  TV One is gearing up for the holiday season with a programming slate filled with original movies, specials and marathons of your favorite shows, including “Family Matters”, which kicks it all off with a special Thanksgiving marathon.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the beloved sitcom, the cast of “Family Matters” will reunite for vignettes throughout the Family Matters ‘Turkel’ Marathon that kicks off on November 28th, Thanksgiving Day, from 6am ET through Saturday, November 30th at 6am ET*.

For the December slate, TV One will premiere the original film “Dear Santa, I Need A Date” starring Ray J, Reagan Gomez-Preston, Anne-Marie Johnson, and Reginae Carter along with holiday movie favorites and the original special, African Pride Gospel Superfest Holiday.

When the Hallmark holiday movie lineup was announced back in September, you may remember seeing the title “Alice in Christmasland” included… and then it moved around the schedule before finally disappearing altogether. Well–it’s back, and with a little bit of a title change!

Chad Michael Murray announced in an Instagram post this morning that he began production on Alice in Winterland alongside Italia Ricci (Rome in Love) and Jack Turner (One Winter Weekend, One Winter Proposal, One Winter Wedding).

There is still a little bit to learn about this particular film project because, we don’t know the plot, if it’s staying on Hallmark Channel or heading to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries–or if it’s slated to premiere this holiday season or next year. In fact, the script might have even been reworked to premiere during the Winterfest 2020 lineup, which kicks off in January, considering the title change.

In the meantime, make sure you tune in for Murray’s film, Write Before Christmas when it premieres on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, November 17th.  If Alice in Winterland should premiere this holiday season, it would mean that Murray is the third actor to star in two holiday movies for Hallmark this season following Andrew Walker (Merry & Bright, Christmas On My Mind) and Michael Rady (Two Turtle Doves, A New Year’s Resolution).

Update 11/20/19: This movie has been confirmed for the Winterfest 2020 lineup with yet another title change! The current working title is Winter Inn Love.

I vote Alice Inn Winterland as the final title but, that’s just me.

It’s the first day of November, which makes it the perfect day for some Christmas binge-watching news, doesn’t it?  Freeform seems to think so because, they dropped the entire lineup for their iconic 25 Days of Christmas holiday programming this year and I have it all here for you!

Just like last year, Freeform will span the 25 Days of Christmas celebration from their network to ABC and the Disney Channel, which allows for you to get your Christmas fix all day long on multiple networks! Included in the lineup is the network premiere of “Same Time, Next Christmas” starring Lea Michele, Bryan Greenberg and Charles Michael Davis (which will originally debut on ABC on December 5th), Freeform’s original holiday film “Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas”, the new reality competition series “Wrap Battle”, a 2-hour holiday event for the original series “Good Trouble”, and the return of traditional classics like “Home Alone”, “Frosty the Snowman”, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”–and all three films from “The Santa Clause” saga!

According to PEOPLE, Vanessa Hudgens is returning to Netflix next Christmas with the sequel to her 2018 hit movie, “The Princess Switch” where she played the dual roles of Stacy De Novo, an American baker who gets invited to participate in a baking competition in the fictional European nation of Belgravia, and Duchess Margaret, who convinces Stacy to switch lives in an effort to achieve a bit of normalcy in her life.

In this sequel titled “The Princess Switch: Switched Again”, naturally, Hudgens will take on a third lookalike character. Things are sure to get really interesting now!

With the holiday season quickly approaching, ION Television has revealed the lineup for ‘Your Home for the Holidays’–the return of their ultra-jolly programming schedule, which will include several brand new Christmas movies lead by many of your favorite stars, including: Vivica A. Fox, Elisabeth Harnois, Leah Pipes, Cindy Sampson and Robin Dunne!

ION will kick off the season on Sunday, December 1st with the first premiere in a slate that will include 6 new movies and 25 returning favorites that are all set to air through Christmas Eve–premieres will take place on Saturdays and Sundays. 

“Our holiday movie schedule continues to prove its worth to both viewers and advertisers and remains an integral part of ION Television’s overall programming strategy,” said Brandon Burgess, ION Media Chairman and CEO. “ION truly has become a ‘go-to’ destination for holiday movie fans, and we’re excited to carry on this tradition.”

Candace Cameron Bure, once again, filled our evening with holiday spirit as she hosted the 2019 Miracles of Christmas Preview Special on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!  The network star stood before gorgeous Christmas decor, courtesy of Balsam Hill, and took us on a journey of Christmas magic with sneak peek of several original heart-warming movies that will be premiering this season.

Home & Family’s animal expert Larissa Wohl also stopped by with three pups (named Dasher, Prancer and Vixen!) as she explained Hallmark’s Adopt-a-Pet initiative, Adoption Ever After.

There’s nothing like new Christmas movie news to kick off your week, am I right? Do you enjoy renting, buying or watching movies through Vudu? If so, you’ll be happy to hear about “Christmas on the Range” starring Erin Cahill (“Last Vermont Christmas”), Nicholas Gonzalez (“The Good Doctor”), A Martinez (“Days of Our Lives”) and Lindsay Wagner (“The Bionic Woman”)!

Synopsis: After three years of hard work, Kendall Riley (Cahill) is finally about to succeed in turning her family ranch into a farm producing organic beef. But Kendall is opposed every step of the way by her neighboring rancher Brick McCree (Martinez), who deeply resents Kendall for reasons no one understands. When Brick’s estranged son Clint (Gonzalez) returns for the holidays, he and Kendall hit it off…which only enrages Brick more. What is the secret behind Brick’s hatred? And with the holidays approaching, is there a chance Clint and Kendall can get him to see the error of his ways?

Christmas in October is here!  It appears that Lifetime hasn’t been able to wait until their kick off date for It’s A Wonderful Lifetime holiday programming either. While it’s still the plan for the network to air 24-hour Christmas movies beginning on October 25, there have definitely been a lot of Christmas movies on nearly every day since the end of September.

Now, don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been continuous festive programming but, it has been significant.

The lineup for Monday, October 21st has “A Snow Globe Christmas”, “All I Want for Christmas”, “A Very Nutty Christmas”, “A Nanny for Christmas”, “Snowed Inn Christmas”, and “Christmas Lost and Found” airing — they begin airing at 12pm/11c, by the way.

It might seem early–especially if you celebrate Halloween and are the type that likes Lifetime’s usual suspense thrillers in the month of October but, if you’re game to feel a little yuletide cheer then make sure you check out the schedule for festive programming across the board at Lolly’s 2019 Holiday TV Guide to see what’s playing and where you can see it–including Lifetime’s slate.

Hallmark Channel aired the 10th Anniversary of Countdown to Christmas Preview Special last night, and it didn’t hold back on the holiday cheer! Candace Cameron Bure took on hosting duties to give us all an epic sneak peek at nearly every single movie coming to the network for the iconic holiday programming event — and she even threw in another look at Hallmark Drama‘s two special original premieres, Christmas Cookie Matchup and Project Christmas Joy.

I really enjoyed the ambiance filled with Christmas decor from Balsam Hill, which further helped me get into the spirit–not that I needed an actual boost. Home & Family‘s animal expert Larissa Wohl, once again, made an appearance to talk about Hallmark’s Adopt-a-Pet initiative, Adoption Ever After.
