It looks like Hallmark is decking the halls even earlier than originally planned!

The official Twitter pages for the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama networks made a surprise announcement yesterday that holiday programming would be kicking off a week early, which means—Christmas movies begin TODAY!

You’ll be able to tune in at 7pm/6c on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries to begin watching the Miracles of Christmas 2019 slate. At 9pm/8c, HM&M will air an encore presentation of the 2017 film, “A Bramble House Christmas” starring Autumn Reeser and David Haydn-Jones.

The first premiere of the season will still be next week with “A Merry Christmas Match” starring Ashley Newbrough and Kyle Dean Massey, which debuts on Friday, October 25th at 9pm/8c.

With Hallmark giving us a heavy dose of holiday cheer across three networks, you shouldn’t be surprised to learn that subscribers can look forward to a jam-packed lineup for the 2019 Hallmark Movies Now: “Movies & Mistletoe” Event!

The Christmas programming event kicks off on October 25th with 20 NEW holiday network premieres rolling out in doubles each Monday, beginning October 28th, with the exception of the week of Thanksgiving where there will be 3 NEW festive network premieres.

The end of October is two weeks away, which means yuletide fun is just around the corner — and that includes a lot of Christmas programming. Netflix revealed their end of the year lineup of movies, series and documentaries, which includes a serious slate of yuletide cheer.

“Holiday in the Wild” starring Rob Lowe and Kristin Davis is amongst their lineup of festive features, a project that was announced in May of 2018 under the working title “Christmas in the Wild”. The Netflix original film will kick off the seasonal programs when it begins streaming on November 1st.

You can also look forward to more exclusive film premieres, including the Vanessa Hudgens lead “A Knight to Remember” as well as “The Holiday Rush” starring Sonequa Martin-Green, Darlene Love and La La Anthony. “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby”, the third followup to their beloved royal saga, will debut in December.

Fans of the series “Nailed It!”, “Family Reunion”, “Alexa & Katie” and “The Great British Baking Show” can expect holiday episodes. Netflix will also premiere the new series, “Merry Happy Whatever” starring a mega cast, which includes: Dennis Quaid, Bridgit Mendler, Ashley Tisdale, and Garcelle Beauvais.

The streaming service has an addition lineup of acquired films, including: “A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish” with Laura Marano and Gregg Sulkin, “Christmas in the Heartland” starring Bo Derek, Shelley Long, Tiffany Fallon, Paula Trickey and Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney, and “Christmas Crush” with Rachel Boston and Jonathan Bennett, which was originally known as “Holiday High School Reunion”.  Check out the full lineup below!

The launch of the Disney+ is drawing near, and to celebrate, the @DisneyPlus Twitter revealed the massive library of movies, shows and specials that will be available on the streaming service — and it’s IMPRESSIVE!  The long list includes brand-new original features, several MCU movies, almost every Disney Channel original series that ever aired, and movies spanning 80 years!

Your whole family will undoubtedly be bitten by the magical nostalgia bug.

Break out the cocoa and find your warmest festive sweater for a cozy night of Christmas movie-watching because, Oprah Winfrey‘s network is making their OWN holiday celebration this year!

It was announced this week that the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will make its first foray into made-for-television movies with three original holiday films, which are slated to premiere on OWN this November starring fan-favorites, including: Jackée Harry, Kimberley Elise, Marla Gibbs, Vanessa Williams and Tim Reid, as well as network stars Cayden K. Williams (“David Makes Man”) and Yohance Myles (“Ambitions”)!

“We are excited to bring holiday movies to OWN,” said Tina Perry, president, OWN. “This special time of year is about spending time with the ones you love, and we think our viewers are going to enjoy watching these movies together throughout the season.”

It will be particularly exciting to see Rick Fox star alongside his daughter Sasha Fox in the heart-warming “One Fine Christmas”, which will be the first to premiere on November 15th.

“General Hospital” star Anthony Montgomery will join Harry and Elise in “Carole’s Christmas”–airing November 22nd, while Reid teams up with Aloma Wright, Khalilah Joi, Leigh-Ann Rose and Arnell Powell in “Baking Christmas”–airing November 29th.

For many, the Christmas season doesn’t start until after Thanksgiving, and for others, it kicks off after Halloween. No matter how you countdown, Freeform is ready to help you celebrate with their annual Kickoff to Christmas holiday programming slate …which officially kicks off on November 1st!

The network, known for their 25 Days of Christmas event, will be pregaming all of November with family favorites, festive episodes of your go-to shows, a few Christmas classics — including ALL THREE films in Tim Allen’s “The Santa Clause” series, an original Thanksgiving-themed film, “Turkey Drop”, and the premiere of the new holiday gift-wrapping reality competition, “Wrap Battle”.

It may be only October 2nd, but SANTA’S COMING! Are you ready for the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER?

AMC Networks has announced the return of their holiday season programming event, which has been dubbed ‘Best Christmas Ever’. The network debuted the lineup last year and, safe to say, it was a hit with viewers so, beginning Monday, November 25 through Christmas Day, you can look forward to festive programming including holiday-themed movies, specials and family favorite films across all of AMC Networks* — more than 700 hours worth!

“We are delighted for the return of ‘Best Christmas Ever,’ which quickly resonated with viewers last year and has become a new holiday tradition in celebration of the season as we showcase 31 days and nights of Christmas movies and specials all-month long,” Tom Halleen, executive vice president of programming strategy, acquisitions and scheduling for AMC Networks, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to extend our largest ever holiday slate to all five of our networks so that viewers can easily access their favorite holiday movies all-month long.”

Among the lineup will be Christmas favorites, such as: Elf, The Polar Express, Christmas with the Kranks, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th Street (1994), Four Christmases, and tons more — check out the list below and WATCH A TEASER HERE!

We finally got some more information on the upcoming Blake Shelton-produced movie for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries — the sequel to last year’s “Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas”.

Entertainment Tonight revealed that Alison Sweeney (Days of Our Lives, Murder, She Baked, The Chronicle Mysteries) and Lucas Bryant (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) will take on the leading roles in “Time for You to Come Home for Christmas”!

Sweeney will star as recent widow Katherine who, along with her son, Will, returns to her hometown to spend Christmas with family. On the train to Virginia, Katherine meets Jack (Bryant), a veteran on his own holiday journey. Katherine and Jack part ways, only to discover they had the same destination. While volunteering for the local Christmas dance, a fundraiser for military families, the two grow closer. But Katherine struggles to move on from her late husband and Jack is focused on a mysterious mission that brought him to town. As Christmas nears, the two learn of a hidden connection that may be the Christmas miracle they were looking for.

As you can see, the plot is very similar to its predecessor; the 2018 film starred Josh Henderson and Megan Park and was based on Shelton’s 2012 holiday song, “Time for Me to Come Home,” which was turned into a festive novel by Shelton’s mother, Dorothy Shackleford, and published in 2013.

“Time for You to Come Home for Christmas” is slated for a December 6th premiere on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 9pm/8c for its Miracles of Christmas 2019 holiday programming event.

Sweeney has previously starred in the Hallmark holiday movies: “Christmas at Holly Lodge” (2017) and “Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery” (2015), and while this will be Bryant’s first Christmas movie for the network, he has previously starred in “Country at Heart” (2019), “Tulips in Spring” (2016) and “Summer Love” (2016).

The W Network issued a press release today to announce that they will be the official holiday destination to find Hallmark Channel‘s Countdown to Christmas lineup in Canada.

The network released the titles included in their programming (running from November 1, 2019 – January 1, 2020), which is a collection of highly-anticipated films set to premiere between both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in the U.S. this holiday season.

Additionally, W Network will have an exclusive world broadcast premiere of “Forever Christmas” starring Chelsea Hobbs (Make It or Break It) and Christopher Russell (UnREAL).
