Carrie Underwood will be bringing her brand-new Christmas album right into your homes with her own holiday special that will exclusively stream on HBO Max towards the end of the year!

The seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winning country singer will perform holiday classics and modern favorites and, of course, songs from her newly-released first ever full-length Christmas album, My Gift, alongside an orchestra and choir.

“The journey of writing and recording this album started last year when I finished my tour and we could have never anticipated the circumstances we would be in this year,” she in a press release. “Creating this album has been good for my heart, and I’m thrilled to get to share it with the world and to bring it to life with Playtone and HBO Max.”

The special is produced by Gary Goetzman and Tom Hanks for Playtone, in conjunction with Underwood and her manager Ann Edelblute.

An official premiere date has not been released yet.

Mariah Carey is getting ready for Christmas early, y’all!

Apple announced today that the music icon is prepping for “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special”, an exclusive holiday event from the worldwide superstar and multi-platinum, multi-Grammy award-winning artist which will debut globally on Apple TV+ this holiday season.

The Christmas special, which is set to premiere on the heels of the 25th anniversary of Carey’s iconic No. 1 holiday anthem “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” will feature Carey alongside a star-studded lineup of special guests ‘in a magical holiday journey to enliven the Christmas spirit around the world. The innovative special will combine music, dancing and animation driven by a universally heartwarming story that brings the world together.’

In other words, we need a little Christmas right this very minute and Mariah is ready to deliver some cheer! I don’t know about you, but listening to Christmas music by Mariah has been a tradition in my household for over two decades, so my family is very much looking forward to celebrating the season by tuning into her holiday special!

Dolly Parton wants to help you ring in the holiday season with a brand new Christmas album, A Holly Dolly Christmas, which will also be Dolly’s first Christmas album in 30 years!

The new holiday album will feature renditions of festive classics as well as a few original songs; the iconic country artist wrote five songs by herself, with an additional co-write with Kent Wells, who also serves as producer for the album.

A Holly Dolly Christmas will include several duets with beloved artists, including: Miley Cyrus (“Christmas Is”), Billy Ray Cyrus (“Christmas Where We Are”), Willie Nelson (“Pretty Paper”), Dolly’s brother Randy Parton (“You Are My Christmas”), a cover of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” performed alongside Jimmy Fallon, and “Cuddle Up, Cozy Down Christmas” with Michael Bublé, which is set as the first single.

There had been some chatter about Carrie Underwood finally releasing a Christmas album over the past few weeks, and the singer officially announced today that her first ever Christmas album, My Gift is coming out in September!

“I’ve always wanted to make a Christmas album and it’s been a long time coming,” says Underwood in an official statement. “I knew this would be my next music project after wrapping my tour last year, and I think it’s turned out to be the perfect time for an album like this, in this period of such personal and spiritual reflection. For me, it’s more important than ever to focus on the true meaning of Christmas in a project like this. Even though it has been a tough year for all of us, sometimes I feel like the greatest realizations can be inspired by the most difficult times, and make us more grateful for the things we do have and for what truly matters.”

Katy Perry released a Christmas single in 2018 called “Cozy Little Christmas” that was an exclusive for Amazon Music listeners. The song was written about her time spent with family in Copenhagen during the holiday season, and how time with your loved ones is worth a lot more than what presents are underneath the Christmas tree.

Fans really wanted a music video and a wider release last year, and now in 2019, they got their Christmas music wish! “Cozy Little Christmas”, written by Perry, Greg Wells, and Ferras Alqaisi, is now officially available on Spotify and Apple Music—and there’s a music video!

This is a nice little Christmas treat! Julianne Hough and Jordan Fisher have announced their musical collaboration for the holiday season, a single called “All I Want For Christmas Is Love”!

The talented duo, who have each achieved their own success in music, film, and “Dancing with the Stars”, have teamed up for the flirty festive single—and released a music video! Both the song, written by Dani Poppitt, Patrick Hartman and Scott Bruzenak, and the performance is a nod to retro holiday duets, which I found really sweet…and catchy. The music video, with cinematography by Andrew Rose and Genie Eubanks, is set as a behind-the-scenes look of the recording of the song as well as performance rehearsal at Faculty Studios.
