Country music star Carly Pearce is returning to host this year’s “CMA Country Christmas” special!
For the 13th year, the musical event of the season will feature even more powerhouse names, including Steven Curtis Chapman, Dan + Shay, Scotty McCreery, Maren Morris, Old Dominion, Pearce, Molly Tuttle, and The War And Treaty singing beloved holiday classics and new favorites.
“CMA Country Christmas” will air on Thursday, December 8 at 9:00 PM ET/PT on ABC, and it will stream the next day on both Hulu and Disney+!

Bask in the Christmas cheer, merry music and a lot of Disney magic by watching the annual Disney Parks specials on ABC this holiday season. Derek Hough and Julianne Hough return to hosting duties for “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” airing on Sunday, November 27th, and they will be joined on Christmas morning, Sunday, December 25th, by Freeform’s Sherry Cola (Freeform’s “Good Trouble”) and Marcus Scribner (“grown-ish”) to co-host the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade”.
The specials were, once again, filmed on location at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California, and will feature festive performances from some of your favorite names in music, including Black Eyed Peas, Maren Morris, Becky G, Chloe Flower, Jordin Sparks, Meghan Trainor, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Il Volo, Ne-Yo, and RUN DMC!

The OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will premiere two all-new original Christmas movies this December for the annual OWN for the Holidays programming event.
First up: “The Great Holiday Bake War” starring original Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett and former “Saturday Night Live” star Finesse Mitchell, which is set to premiere on Saturday, December 3rd. The second new film on the festive slate is “A Christmas Fumble” starring “America’s Next Top Model” winner Eva Marcille and Devale Ellis (“Tyler Perry’s Sistas”).

Since you’ll be ‘streaming all the way’ this holiday season, you’ll want to add Hulu as one of your go-to Christmas destinations—because the lineup is jam-packed with comfort and joy. Hulu has been adding holiday films to their platform all month long, in addition to the existing titles that include original films like “Happiest Season” starring Kristen Stewart and Dan Levy.
There are many more merry movies on the way, including “A Christmas Winter Song” starring Ashanti and Stan Shaw that originally premiered on Lifetime in 2019, and upcoming Hulu Originals like “Merry Kiss Cam” starring Katie Lowes and Jesse Bradford. You can also enjoy the live broadcast of “Tracking Santa” on Christmas Eve, December 24th, as Santa sightings across America are monitored and that’s sure to be exciting for the little ones in your family.
There’s a lot of yuletide fun to be had at VH1, Comedy Central and Paramount Network this year, and the festivities include an overload of music, comedy, and holiday cheer!
VH1 will release four all-new original titles every Wednesday beginning the week after Thanksgiving through the week of Christmas for their Naughty or Nice lineup. Comedy Central will premiere a holiday movie starring the original Reno 911 cast and Paramount Network will debut A Nashville Country Christmas, starring and executive produced by Tanya Tucker.

Spend your Thanksgiving with Hallmark Channel this year as Lacey Chabert hosts the annual Merry Thanksgiving Weekendcelebration! Starting Thanksgiving night (Thursday, November 24), Lacey will help usher in the premieres of seven holiday movies all weekend long—including her own movie, “Haul Out the Holly”, which will premiere on Saturday night. The 24th Annual “A Home for the Holidays at The Grove” seasonal special will return to CBS this December, hosted by Gloria Estefan, and featuring more uplifting stories of adoption from foster care and raising awareness of this important social issue.
The special will be broadcast Friday, December 23rd (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and will take place at The Grove in Los Angeles, with performances by Estefan, Andy Grammer, Little Big Town and David Foster & Kat McPhee. The award-winning special has shined a light on the thousands of American children in foster care over more than two decades, and has inspired tens of thousands of adoptions.
Netflix is going to have you ‘streaming all the way’ this holiday season! The powerhouse streaming service has announced many of the original films, specials and festive-themed episodes that will be available throughout November and December, which are sure-to-be perfect additions to your jolly days and nights as you wrap gifts or unwind with a steaming mug of hot cocoa after a long day.
Among the yuletide offering this year are original films, “Falling for Christmas” starring Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet; “Christmas With You” starring Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Aimee Garcia; Justin Hartley will star alongside Barrett Doss in “The Noel Diary” based off the 2017 novel of the same name, and “Christmas Full of Grace” starring Gkay and Sérgio Malheiros.
“The Great British Baking Show: Holidays” will return for its fifth season; the animated special “Boss Baby: Christmas Bonus” will find Boss Baby celebrating his first Christmas, plus a lot more Christmas cheer! Check out all of the holiday fun in the schedule below.

Halloween just ended so, naturally, it’s time to get into the holiday spirit for most television networks—including TBS and TNT, who recently revealed their Winter Break holiday programming lineup—and this includes 24-hour marathons of beloved films, “Elf” starring Will Ferrell and the classic “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” immediately following Thanksgiving.
Although there isn’t too much variety, the schedule is filled with favorites, which is a good thing when you have a busy schedule and don’t want to miss a movie you traditionally watch each year—there’s a lot of opportunity to see them, including the above mentioned films plus “Fred Claus,” “The Polar Express,” “The Holiday,” “Four Christmases,” and more. “A Christmas Story” will once again have its cross-network 24-hour marathon on Christmas Eve as it has for the past few years.

Tim Allen returns as Santa Claus in the limited original series, “The Santa Clauses”, a capella music group Pentatonix will head their first Disney+ Christmas music special with “Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays,“Tituss Burgess will host a festive competition about snow sculptures with “Best in Snow,“Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy” gets its own holiday special, and RUN DMC‘s Rev Run teams up with professional dancers Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Allison Holker, and the Jabbawockeez for “Hip Hop Nutcracker”!
Subscribers can expect new specials coming to the service, such as “Mickey Saves Christmas” and new holiday episodes of “Puppy Dog Pals”, “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends”, “The Villains of Valley View”, “Raven’s Home”, “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery”, and “Eureka!”.
You’ll find your seasonal favorites like the “Home Alone” collection, “The Santa Clause” trilogy, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,“ the “Frozen” franchise, and more!
