Music sensations Justin Bieber, Kane Brown, Alessia Cara and Darren Criss will all take part in the upcoming CBS special, “A Home for the Holidays at The Grove,“ which shares uplifting stories of adoption from foster care and raising awareness of this important social issue. The special will be broadcasted on Sunday, December 5th at 9:30pm ET/9pm PT.

This is the 23rd year of the “A Home for a Holidays” event, and this year it was filmed at the famed retail, dining and entertainment destination The Grove in Los Angeles, California. The award-winning special has shined a light on the thousands of American children in foster care over more than two decades, and has inspired tens of thousands of adoptions.

In addition to inspirational stories of several families and performances from the musical talent featured, country singer Brown will introduce the Rodriguez family for a special live adoption.

We’re not event a week into November and it’s already been filled with lots of holiday television programming announcements. Freeform kicked the month off with their lineup while ABC revealed their holiday specials this morning, and now CBS has unveiled what they have planned for the most festive time of the year!

The network will air their own iconic Thanksgiving Day Parade coverage along with the annual Kennedy Center Honors, and you can also expect to laugh along with Lucy, Ricky, Ethel and Fred with the traditional colorized presentation of the classic “I Love Lucy Christmas Special” episode.

Idina Menzel will be joined by Adam Lambert, Ne-Yo and Kelly Rowland as she hosts the 21st annual “A Home for the Holidays” special, and you won’t want to miss the beloved classics: “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, “Frosty the Snowman”, “The Story of Santa Claus” + lots more!

Idina Menzel is having a very busy holiday season, and now CBS has revealed that the Tony Award® winner will also serve as the host for the 21st annual “A Home for the Holidays” uplifting event.

Adam Lambert, Ne-Yo and Kelly Rowland will also appear during “A Home For The Holidays with Idina Menzel” as they show their support for an audience made up of adoptive parents, social workers, and former foster children.

“For the last two decades, the award-winning special has shined a light on the thousands of American children in foster care and has inspired tens of thousands of adoptions, moving these kids into loving ‘forever families.’

The heart of the special is a series of documentary stories that profile some of the resilient children who have been shuttled from foster home to foster home and were ultimately adopted. These powerful stories highlight the good and the bad, from the grim realities of foster care to the life-changing effects of a loving family,” CBS announced in an official press release.
