With the election going on, it has been such an intense few days that I almost forgot to mention that we had reached the 50 day mark until Christmas! Let’s hope all of the days leading up to the most wonderful day of the year are better than they’ve been. βοΈ

Today officially marks 2 months until Christmas Day! I can’t believe it’s already that soon! I wish time could just slow down at this point. This year has been rough, so I’m sure there are a lot of people out there that are simply not in the Christmas spirit, but for all of you who are just taking in this cheer to bring a little bit of joy to your day…I hope you can slow down and enjoy it. For those who are having a rough time, I pray that your load is lightened this holiday season.

The Hallmark and Lifetime have already begun their end-of-the-year holiday programming slates, so make sure you check out what’s to come for Countdown to Christmas, Miracles of Christmas & It’s A Wonderful Lifetime. There are a lot of great movies that just premiered and many more on the way!

This year has been a tough one, and while I will continue to enjoy the current season as much as possible, I shall not refrain from listening to my holiday tunes as often as possible until January 6th (and beyond!) because, honestly, this time of year — once those ‘Ber months start — goes by just way too fast! MERRY CHRISTMAS IN JULY!! Let’s swap out sweaters for a festive swimsuit – if you’re relaxing by the pool, or a pair of jolly jammies – if you’re lounging inside with a Christmas movie! This year we may be celebrating a lot different than we have in the past, but I hope your spirits are lifted a lot today with a little bit of Christmas.
You can stream Christmas movies (via Lifetime, HMNow and Hallmark Channel Everywhere) or catch a marathon of holiday favorites on Hallmark Channel — and they’ve extended it until August 1st! Make yourself a frozen hot chocolate and nibble on a strawberry Santa, kick back and enjoy!

Some weeks seem to fly by and some days feel like they drag on this year, but in just 6 MONTHS it will be CHRISTMAS DAY! That’s right, it’s National Leon Day! Celebrate ‘Halfmas’ all day with jingle jams, summery holiday treats and maybe a Christmas movie–or two…or three!

It feels like it was just yesterday that we were at the 6 month mark… then we blinked… and it turned into 100 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! Just imagine how quickly these days will fly! I love awaiting the Christmas season but, I also really love fall… it feels like a new beginning… so, I’m looking forward to enjoying all that autumn has to offer while also planning for ‘the most wonderful time of the year’.
If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter then you’ll know once it hits 125 days, I begin posting a Christmas Song of the Day every day until Little Christmas on January 6th. In honor of the one-hundred day mark, I thought I’d post it here as well for you to sing along and enjoy.
