Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw is gearing up to release his very first holiday EP next month with “A Classic Christmas,“ a six-song EP with a bluesy, soulful take on traditional yuletide favorites—including, “Silent Night,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “The Christmas Song,” and “White Christmas.”

“My favorite record of all time is ‘White Christmas’ by Bing Crosby. It may be the greatest record ever made. It happens to be a damn good movie, too,” said DeGraw. “I decided to make a Christmas record because I love classic Christmas songs. It’s got a special place in my heart and makes me feel like I’m with my family whenever I put it on. I listen to it all year round.”

“A Classic Christmas” will be available on October 13th, and you can currently pre-save your copy.

In addition to the release, DeGraw will also be performing the songs live for select audiences during “Christmas in the City,“ a short residency at Café Carlyle inside the Carlyle Hotel in New York City. We can barely contain our excitement because the most festive Christmas movie announcement of the year is finally here! ✨🎄✨

Hallmark has unveiled this year’s holiday lineup, which kicks off on Friday, October 20th, and it’s packed with 40 all-new, original premieres spreading cheer across Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas events as well as Movies & Mistletoe exclusives on the subscription streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now!

The network’s reigning ‘Christmas Queen,’ Lacey Chabert will reunite with former “Party of Five” costars Scott Wolf and Jennifer Aspen in two separate movies—with Wolf in “A Merry Scottish Christmas” and with Aspen in “Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up,” the follow-up to last year’s hit!  Bethany Joy Lenz will join Kristoffer Polaha in “A Biltmore Christmas,” Janel Parrish and Tyler Hynes will co-star in “Never Been Chris’d,” and “Good Witch” co-stars Catherine Bell and James Denton will have their own on-screen reunion in “Christmas on Cherry Lane.”

More fan-favorite stars will return to sleigh as they lead new movies, including: Benjamin Ayres, Jonathan Bennett, Krystal Joy Brown, Warren Christie, Cindy Busby, Erin Cahill, Paul Campbell, Nikki DeLoach, Brooke D’Orsay, Jaicy Elliot, Brennan Elliott, Luke Macfarlane, Niall Matter, Barbara Niven, Ryan Paevey, Brendan Penny, Kristoffer Polaha, Michael Rady, Ronnie Rowe Jr., Kimberley Sustad, Andrew Walker, Victor Webster, and many others!

There will also be plenty of new faces in all-new movies, such as Chris Carmack, Erica Cerra, Mark Ghanimé, Humberly Gonzalez, Grace Leer, Mishael Morgan, William Moseley, Jim O’Heir, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Phylicia Rashad, Vincent Rodriguez III, and Emily Tennant among others.  Former “One Tree Hill” star Bryan Greenberg will join the network alongside Vic Michaelis and Rick Hoffman in this year’s Hanukkah film, “Round and Round.”

Merry Thanksgiving Weekend, will return on Thanksgiving night, November 23rd with the premiere of “Catch Me if You Claus” starring Italia Ricci and Macfarlane, and continues all weekend with double feature premieres at 6 p.m. ET/PT and 8 p.m. ET/PT each night.

Word on the merry street is there will be some Easter Eggs in this year’s features, including surprise appearances from familiar faces, nods to Hallmark past movies and iconic roles!

We have reached 100 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS! Today is a significant step towards the holiday season, and in our household, it serves as the perfect day to really plan the festivities awaiting us. We have our apple cider and our Christmas planner ready, and we’re excited to start making lists that we will ‘check twice’ long before Santa Claus is prepared to take flight. 🎅🏼📝

For what is quite possibly one of the most exciting holiday announcements, so far… CHER IS RELEASING HER FIRST CHRISTMAS ALBUM!  Can you hear our screams of joy through the screen?

We are big fans of Cher in the Lolly Christmas household, so you can best believe we’re filled with yuletide cheer due to this musical news from the “Goddess of Pop.”

Simply titled Christmas, Cher’s new holiday album is expected to feature additional big names such as Darlene Love, Michael Bublé, Tyga, Cyndi Lauper, and Stevie Wonder.  Although a tracklisting has not been released yet, the album is said to include traditional holiday favorites as well as a brand new track called “DJ Play a Christmas Song.”

Christmas by Cher will be release on October 20th as both a CD and vinyl edition. You can collect alternate covers—including 4 different Target exclusive covers and an Amazon exclusive cover!

We look forward to the announcement of the PENTATONIX annual Christmas album, and this year they did not disappoint because we’re getting a greatest hits collection filled with beloved favorites and brand new songs to rock round the tree with!

The Grammy-winning a cappella group has announced their seventh holiday offering, Pentatonix: The Greatest Christmas Hits, a 2-disc set filled with 23 Christmas classics and 8 all-new songs—including “Please Santa Please,” a track which will release as a single on September 25th.

Today has been spent listening to cheerful carols, watching Christmas movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries for Merry Movie Week and starting our checklist for the upcoming holiday season!

1 WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Time is just flying by faster than Santa Claus’ sleigh on Christmas Eve!

We hope these 7 days provide you with time to finish up shopping, and to watch all of the Christmas movies you can.  Speaking of which, we have a lot of movies from different streaming services to get caught up on—including a few Lifetime and Hallmark movies, and watching some of our favorite classics, of course.  We’re going to use this next week to do that, bake holiday treats, pick up stocking stuffers, and just enjoy time together as a family as we celebrate the reason for the season.

2 WEEKS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Sometimes we just want to freeze time for a little bit and enjoy, and we really feel that when we see that there are only 2 weeks until Christmas. This is why it frustrates us when anyone says “it’s not even Thanksgiving, wait until after to decorate.” It took us over 2 weeks just to decorate, add in shopping, daily life (i.e. work, school, etc) and finding the time to *enjoy* time with family…watching movies, baking cookies, etc.

You don’t want to rush that time with people you love because time is so precious. Christmas time isn’t a time you can shove into a 4 week span… Christmas time is whatever time you can find to celebrate the reason for the season—and time with those you love.

If you want to start celebrating in July—that’s up to you. Please remember that these next two weeks and the year that follows. The spirit of the season can happen at any time, and you don’t need to try and “fit it in” between any calendar day. Try to find the time in these next two weeks to really enjoy the season, and if you missed getting the time to bake cookies or watch your favorite movie, don’t let December 26th tell you that you can’t. It’s Christmas until January 6th, and you can keep the spirit all the days of the year. We hope you have the merriest Christmas and that you #StayMerry! ❄️

20 Days Until Christmas!

The days are flying by! We still have a lot to do for the big day—and by ‘a lot’, we mean we’re excited to eat Christmas cookies, watch movies, and get some shopping done. We’re so glad we’re finished decorating and can just bask in the glow of the holidays in every room we enter. We love Christmas!
