The LollyChristmas.com team recently caught up with actor Ryan Paevey to chat about his all-new Hallmark Channel original holiday movie, Coyote Creek Christmas, which is premiering this weekend as part of the network’s iconic Countdown to Christmas lineup!

You have a brand new Christmas movie premiering on Hallmark Channel called Coyote Creek Christmas. Can you talk more about the film and your character, Dylan?

Sure! I play Dylan Bailey of the Bailey Brothers Development Firm; a single dad–I’m kind of like the wandering salesman for my family.  It’s me and my kid [played by Dalman] on the road all the time, kind of just doing what the business needs, and my son and I had holiday plans that–I don’t want to say ‘get derailed’, but ‘delayed’, shall we say?  The business catches wind of a new project that they can work on called the Coyote Creek Inn, and so on our little road trip, we make a little detour there to take a look at it as a possible acquisition–kind of a turn and burn thing.  We get there and it’s nice; there’s this pretty girl [played by Parrish], and the family’s lovely, and they’re doing a Christmas thing… and maybe I don’t wanna steamroll the place.  Maybe I want to keep it the same, you know, hang out with the girl–my kid likes her, and that’s always good.

We finally have details on the brand new Hallmark Channel holiday movie, Coyote Creek Christmas, starring Ryan Paevey and Janel Parrish that I told you about last month.

The network confirmed that the all-new original movie is set to premiere for the annual Countdown to Christmas programming event this fall… and gave us more information about the storyline.

In the movie, Paige (Parrish) offers to plan the annual holiday party at her parent’s hotel in the Rockies, the Coyote Creek Inn, which will surely help her score a promotion at the upscale event planning company she works for. She decides on a “Christmas around the world” theme, to showcase the universal magic of the season through the diverse Christmas traditions of the Inn’s guests.

Production will soon wrap on the Vancouver set of Hallmark’s upcoming holiday film, Coyote Creek Christmas, which stars Janel Parrish (Holly & Ivy) and Ryan Paevey (Hope at Christmas, Christmas at the Plaza, A Timeless Christmas).

The two have been sharing Instagram photos as they film the movie, which is set to wrap up filming this week. While it’s unclear when exactly the movie will premiere, and if it will air on Hallmark Channel or its sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, one thing is for sure — these are two very good leads. I’m excited to see Ryan and Janel work together!

Ryan will be playing the role of Dylan Bailey while Janel will star as Paige Parker. Hopefully we will get a synopsis soon, and when we do, I will update this post with more information.
