Last night, Kellie Pickler hosted the “Christmas: A Second Look Preview Special”, which is Hallmark Channel’s insider look at the original movies premiering during their Countdown to Christmas programming this year, and 2018 is going to jam-packed with romantic holiday magic!

While Kellie made sure to recap the movies Lacey Chabert gave us a sneak peek at over the summer during the first preview special, she put the focus on 4 other upcoming films: “Road to Christmas”, “Mingle All the Way”, “Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa” and “A Majestic Christmas”.

The past few weeks have been filled with cast announcements for Hallmark’s upcoming holiday programming, and today is no different.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Josh Henderson, Megan Park, and Jean Smart are the latest names heading to the networks for Christmas this year!

Henderson and Park (“My Christmas Love”) will costar in “Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas” for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The film is based off of the 2012 Blake Shelton song as well as the book, of the same name, by Shelton’s mother, Dorothy Shackleford.

Back in July, the Hallmark Channel aired the “Christmas: A First Look” Preview Special hosted by Lacey Chabert that gave viewers a peek at some of the movies set to premiere on the network and sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries this holiday season. It was very exciting to get a little snippet of what yuletide cheer was in store for all of us, but due to the high volume of interest as well as the amount of films set to debut, Hallmark will be airing another special to talk about some of the recently announced films.

“Christmas: A Second Look Preview Special” will provide a continuation of the sneak peeks for the Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas original movies and, this time, it will be hosted by Kellie Pickler. The country music top-charter will make her own Countdown to Christmas debut this November in “Christmas in Graceland”.

“Christmas: A Second Look” this Saturday, September 29th at 11PM / 10c on Hallmark Channel.

After getting a Christmas in September surprise yesterday with the full line-up of all the Hallmark movies coming this holiday season, LeAnn Rimes decided to drop us goodies to further fuel the hype.

The Grammy award-winning Country singer is making her debut in Hallmark Channel’s upcoming original movie “It’s Christmas, Eve” during the Countdown to Christmas line-up…and she’s releasing a soundtrack to go with it! That’s right, you can now pre-order the “It’s Christmas, Eve” soundtrack where you’ll get instant access to the song, “The Gift Of Your Love” and a limited amount of early pre-orders will receive an autographed copy of the record.

There is nothing like celebrating the middle of the week with a huge dose of Christmas spirit — thanks to the exclusive Entertainment Weekly dropped this morning unveiling information on ALL 36 37 holiday movies that will premiere on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries this year!

There will be many of your festive favorites returning, including: Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Jessica Lowndes, Alicia Witt and Brennan Elliott, but there will also be Hallmark Christmas newbies that ‘yule’ love like Chad Michael Murray, Corey Sevier, Emily Osment, Ryan Paevey and Scottie Thompson.

Eloise Mumford and Sean Faris will also be starring in a movie together, so if you loved seeing them work together in 2012’s Christmas with Holly, this is sure to be a treat!

One of my favorite things about this reveal is that we see that Hallmark is taking a huge step in the right direction by having racial diversity in the leading roles. Over the years, viewers have requested this–last year Alexa and Carlos PenaVega lead one out of 33 premieres, but I’m thrilled to say Jerrika Hinton, Christian Vincent, Tatyana Ali, Dondre T. Whitfield, Christina Milian, Mark Taylor, Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Duane Henry will star in 4 of the films, and the PenaVegas will each return in solo films. I hope this will inspire even more next year!

Can you handle more Hallmark Christmas movie news?! I hope so, because we’re really getting spoiled lately with all the casting and film announcements.

According to a new report from Entertainment Tonight, we will be getting movies from Christina Milian, Ryan Paevey, and former “Grey’s Anatomy” star, Jerrika Hinton. Sean Faris and Eloise Mumford, who starred together in Hallmark’s 2012 film “Christmas with Holly”, are reuniting in a new movie as well. I’ve included a breakdown of what we now know about each film below!

We’re only seven weeks away from the kick off to Hallmark’s Christmas programming so, naturally, I have more movie news for you!

Network favorites Nikki DeLoach and Jen Lilley are returning this holiday season to star in in a few festive movies and, according to this exclusive scoop from ET, I think ‘yule’ love what’s in store.

Title: “Christmas Reunited”
Network: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Cast: Nikki Deloach and Mike Faiola

Synopsis: Samantha (DeLoach), a frazzled novelist struggling with writer’s block, heads home to her late grandmother’s home — alongside her boyfriend — to spend Christmas there. While at home with family, her grandmother’s wise words reveal the true meaning of Christmas to Samantha at a time when she most needs encouragement.

DeLoach, who previously starred in “Christmas Land” (2015) and “A Dream of Christmas” (2016), will also serve as an executive producer on the film.

Title: “Mingle All the Way”
Network: Hallmark Channel
Cast: Jen Lilley, Brant Daugherty and Lindsay Wagner

Synopsis: Molly (Lilley) is determined to prove to her family that it is a success. Therefore, she joins the ‘Mingle All the Way’ networking app, and meets another busy professional, Jeff (Daugherty). When Molly and Jeff are matched, they are both horrified to realize they’ve already had not one, but two, disastrous previous encounters. Nevertheless, they agree to stay matched for all their respective upcoming holiday engagements. As the pair gets closer, perhaps their business arrangement might turn into something more this holiday season.

If you have a good memory for Christmas movie announcements, you’ll recall that last year author SQuire Rushnell and his wife Louise DuArt appeared on the NBC TODAY show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb to discuss their “Godwink” book series. During the segment they announced that a film series was in development with Hallmark, and that Gifford would be starring in them.

Fast-forward over a year later and “A Godwink Christmas” is set to debut during Hallmark’s holiday programming this fall! Whether it’s for Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas line-up remains to be seen, but I believe it will be the latter considering the theme of the movie.

Fan favorite Paul Campbell has been posting some photos from set along with costars Kimberley Sustad and, as mentioned, Gifford. Watch the announcement and see photos from the set below!

Countdown to Christmas viewers who fell in love with the movie, “Christmas in Evergreen” when it premiered last year on the Hallmark Channel will be happy to know that a sequel is in the works—and it’s premiering this year!

“Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa” is set to debut during the networks holiday programming this holiday season, and several of the stars of the first film will be back–including: Ashley Williams, Holly Robinson Peete, and Barbara Niven as well as new faces Jill Wagner and Mark Deklin.

Country Living reports that the sequel will take us back to the fictional small town of Evergreen as we follow Lisa (Jill Wagner), who is busy repairing the community’s abandoned General Store ahead of the holidays. With a little help from the rest of the townspeople, she’ll deliver a special, lost letter to the North Pole while trying to restore the Christmas spirit in her Vermont village. The inspiration of Evergreen, Vermont is based on Hallmark artist Geoff Greenleaf‘s Christmas illustrations.
