Stop whatever you’re doing!  Lifetime just dropped a massive dash of Christmas cheer with the announcement of their highly anticipated It’s a Wonderful Lifetime lineup! The network’s beloved seasonal celebration includes 26 all-new movies, and it all kicks off on Saturday, November 5th.

The joyful films are jam-packed with leading stars, many of whom are pulling double duty by starring and executive producing, including Kelsey Grammer, Mario Lopez, Jana Kramer, Brooke Elliott, Keshia Knight Pulliam, and Kirk Franklin. Additionally, Melissa Joan Hart will executive produce and direct “Santa Bootcamp”, Whoopi Goldberg executive produces “A New Orleans Noel”, Toni Braxton produces “A Christmas Spark”, a movie which reunites “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” stars Jane Seymour and Joe Lando, and Sarah Drew will star in “Reindeer Games Homecoming,” which she also wrote and served as executive producer.

Justin Bruening, Naturi Naughton, Luke James, Cheri Oteri, Brandon Quinn, Mario Cantone, Tim Reid, Brittany Bristow, Spencer Grammer, Ariana Ron Pedrique, Rodrigo Massa, David Fumero, Kyle Dean Massey and more stars, also join in on this year’s lineup.

Christmas in July just ended, but the holiday season pregaming continues with the official detailed announcement of two more movies that are coming to Lifetime‘s beloved It’s A Wonderful Lifetime programming event, which is set to return in October.

For Sarah Drew‘s (Amber Brown) previously announced “Reindeer Games Homecoming”, Lifetime has revealed that the actress will reunite with her former “Grey’s Anatomy” co-star, Justin Bruening (Sweet Magnolias). Drew penned the script for this film, and will also serve as executive producer!

Lifetime’s own ‘Queen of Christmas’, Melissa Joan Hart, will direct “Santa Bootcamp”, her fourth directed picture for the network, which will reunite her with Tony® award winner Marissa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray); the two co-starred in 2018’s “A Very Nutty Christmas”.  The movie will also star Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead), Justin Gaston (Nashville), Patrick Cassidy (Castle) and EGOT award winner Rita Moreno (West Side Story).

“I have always been a holiday person… particularly Christmas. The idea that I’m actually going to participate in this wonderful Lifetime Christmas movie, Santa Bootcamp, just tickles me to no end,” said Moreno. “I have been known, at Christmas time, to decorate anyone in my house who happens to stand still for more than a minute. I will decorate anyone and anything because I turn into a child. Therefore, what a treat for me! Thank you Lifetime. My grandchildren are already celebrating!”

According to a press release from Lifetime, ‘Santa Bootcamp will also showcase the network’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity, as deaf actors Deanne Bray and Zyra Singleton will be joining the cast.’  Read more about the movies below!

Last month it was announced that Jana Kramer and Mario Lopez would be co-starring in an upcoming dance-centric holiday movie for Lifetime‘s It’s A Wonderful Lifetime programming event later this year, and it looks like the two have been hard at work filming in Nashville, Tennessee.

The film is tentatively titled “Mr. Holiday” (Update 07/25/22: The working title is now “Steppin’ into the Holiday”!) as Mario plays the role of Billy Holiday, a former Broadway star, who meets Rae (Kramer), the charismatic owner of a local dance studio. After Billy volunteers to help Rae with a dance recital fundraiser, and the two enjoy working together, romantic sparks fly.

The two actors have been sharing photos from set as well as a ‘first look’ at the movie with official promotional photos, which you can check out below!

We may be heading into March, but Christmas movie magic is in the air thanks to this latest announcement from Lifetime.  The network revealed three upcoming titles that will premiere during the It’s A Wonderful Lifetime holiday programming slate later this year.

Keshia Knight Pulliam will return for her fourth holiday movie alongside real-life husband Brad James in “A New Orleans Noel”, which will co-star Tim Reid and legendary entertainer, Patti LaBelle.  Pulliam will also executive produce alongside Whoopi Goldberg.

Network favorites Jana Kramer and Mario Lopez will star in a currently untitled dance-centric movie with comedian Cheri Oteri and Lopez’s real-life wife, Courtney Lopez. Finally, Brooke Elliott — who previously led the critically acclaimed Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva, returns to star in and executive produce “A Country Christmas Harmony”. The movie also stars Brandon Quinn and Danny Pintauro. Read more about each film below!
