Christmas movies begin premiering on Hallmark next weekend so, naturally, there are some key art/posters coming out to promote the new original movies coming to Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas this year.  So far, we have four posters debuted, which is actually kind of a small amount compared to what we usually have this close to kick-off.

It’s a *Merry First Day of Fall* because Hallmark has announced their upcoming holiday lineup! 🎄

It may not be time to deck the halls quite yet, but after reading this movie announcement, I’m sure you’ll want to! In honor of the iconic holiday programming event kicking off next month, Hallmark has unveiled the first batch of all-new original Christmas movies set to premiere during Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas slate. 

This year the holiday cheer will be overflowing as the network celebrates 12 years of Christmas with 41 original premieres, and for the first time ever, there will be a premiere for the Movies & Mistletoe event on the Hallmark Movies Now streaming service — and it all kicks off Friday, October 22nd!

Get ready to see some of your favorite returning stars, including: Holly Robinson Peete, Ryan Paevey, Luke Macfarlane, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Lacey Chabert, Bethany Joy Lenz, Kimberley Sustad, Nikki Deloach, Andrew Walker, Robert Buckley, Trevor Donovan, Jonathan Bennett, Paul Campbell, Danica McKellar, Kristoffer Polaha, Taylor Cole, Janel Parrish and Brennan Elliott — as well as some new faces to the network, including: Jordin Sparks, Ashleigh Murray, Olivia Washington, Catherine Haena Kim, Luke James, Nik Sanchez, Inbar Lavi, Loretta Devine, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Lyndsy Fonseca, Julian Morris, Brittany Ishibashi, Caroline Rhea, Stuart Townsend, and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child!

Hallmark announced today that production has officially begun on an upcoming holiday movie starring Holly Robinson Peete called The Christmas Bond (working title), which is set up air during the Miracles of Christmas lineup during the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries holiday programming event.

Not only will Robinson Peete star, but she will also serve as executive producer for this all-new original movie. The Christmas Bond will also star Lyriq Bent (Acrimony) and Nik Sanchez (The Rookie) who, like the character he portrays, is on the autism spectrum.

In the story, as a single mom (Peete) and her teenaged son with autism (Sanchez) come to a crossroad during Christmas, she must learn to let go so he can flourish and finds her own heart healing in unexpected ways.

It’s always nice to kick off the ‘Ber months with a little Christmas movie news!

Deadline reports that Torrey Devitto (Chicago Med, Write Before Christmas, Best Christmas Party Ever) will be leading her third holiday movie for Hallmark, and will be joined by Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black, A Novel Romance) and Patrick Duffy (Dallas, The Mistletoe Secret, The Christmas Cure).

Production starts this week for The Christmas Promise, an all-new original festive film for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries that is set to air during this year’s Miracles of Christmas programming event.

In the new heartwarming holiday tale, DeVitto plays Nicole, a woman who learns to deal with grief with the help of her grandfather (Duffy) and a carpenter named Joe (Bruce), who she hires to renovate the home she was to share with her fiancé.

The Christmas Promise will be directed by Fred Gerber from a script by Kathy Kloves, who also serves as producer along with Risa Shapiro, Sunta Izzicupo and Front Street Pictures Inc.

Hallmark announced an upcoming holiday movie, “Christmas in My Heart,“ that is set to premiere during the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries “Miracles of Christmas” event later this year! The all-new original movie will be lead by Heather Hemmens (“Love, Take Two”), Luke Macfarlane (“A Shoe Addict’s Christmas,” “Chateau Christmas,” “Sense, Sensibility and Snowmen,” “Christmas Land”) and Sheryl Lee Ralph (“Christmas Comes Twice”).

In this new Christmas tale, with Christmas fast approaching, concert violinist Beth (Hemmens) returns to her hometown after the recent passing of her mother, the elementary school’s beloved music department head. She crosses paths with Katie (Maria Nash, “Elinor Wonders Why”), a young, promising violinist and daughter of country music star Sean Grant (Macfarlane), who’s been living a quiet life there since his wife’s passing. Sean’s mother-in-law Ruthie (Ralph) wants him to move on with his life, but he’s still coming to terms with his loss and hasn’t been inspired to create new music. Eager to sharpen her skills for the town’s upcoming recital dedicated to Beth’s mother, Katie finds a creative way to get Sean to hire Beth as her tutor, despite his skepticism about the value of formal music instruction.
