Get ready for some snow-slinging musical fun this holiday season with Nickelodeon and Paramount+’s all-new original movie, “Snow Day“!

As the official synopsis explains, “Snow Day” is a musical reimagining of the beloved 2000 comedy classic film; it follows a group of kids who are determined to achieve their dreams when their school closes for a snow day. Siblings Hal (Ky Baldwin, “Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door”) and Natalie Brandston (Michaela Russell, “WandaVision”) discover that anything is possible on a snow day when a surprise winter whiteout offers them the chance to break routines and take giant risks.

Inspired to pursue his crush, Claire (Shelby Simmons, “Bunk’d”), Hal enlists the help of his best friend, Lane (Fabi Aguirre, “Les Misérables” on Broadway), to help him express his feelings, and Natalie decides she must challenge the town’s cranky snowplow man if she wants to pull off the task of creating a second snow day.

There’s a new music group on the scene, and they’ve arrived just in time for the holiday season! Nickelodeon, in collaboration with Ty Ty & Jay Brown Productions, announced the new girl group called Good NEWZ Girls and they’ve debuted with the “Winter Getaway” EP, which is now available to stream on all platforms (click here).

The members consist of Mikaela Astel (17 years old from Queens, NY), Nayah Damasen (17 years old, from Burbank, CA), Isabel Gonzalez (16 years old from Teaneck, NJ), and Baylee Morrison (17 years old from Macedon, NY) who all come from singing and dancing backgrounds.

Nickelodeon is preparing to launch the lineup for their annual “Nickmas” programming slate later this month, and there’s a lot of jolly fun to be had with holiday-themed episodes of original shows and the premiere of the original live-action holiday movie based on the Emmy Award-winning animated series, The Loud House!  Starting Friday, November 20th, viewers will be able to get festive with some of their favorite series, including: Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, Blue’s Clues and You!, PAW Patrol, Rugrats, That Girl Lay Lay, and many more!

The “Nickmas” holiday offering will also feature fan-favorite titles and original holiday movies from Nickelodeon’s library of holiday classics, including the iconic perennial Rugrats, “A Rugrats Chanukah,” SpongeBob SquarePants “It’s A SpongeBob Christmas!” and PAW Patrol “Pups Save Christmas,” and Nickelodeon original holiday movies A Fairly Odd Christmas, Merry Christmas Drake & Josh, Santa Hunters, and Tiny Christmas.

Nickelodeon is getting into the holiday spirit by announcing a brand new original festive reality competition that will have you cozying up in front of the television with your little ones this season!

The network announced the series premiere of “TOP ELF”, an original competition series that includes five one-hour episodes of seven kid ‘Elf-testants’ with extraordinary building and design skills that will compete in holiday challenges with the goal of becoming Santa’s ‘Top Elf’. The winner will have their wish lists granted, but not for themselves — for good causes in their hometowns.

Tommy Snider and Samantha Turrett will star as Santa and Ms. Jingles, respectively, as celebrity guests help out the judging process each week–including: Frankie Grande, Amirah Kassem, Peyton List, Alex Wassabi and Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.
