It’s time to turn your Christmas purple and come ‘OWN for the Holidays’ with the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network‘s lineup that’s filled with cheer—and four all-new original movies premiering every weekend in December!

With a sweet lineup lead by talented actors such as Being Mary Jane‘s B.J. Britt, Batwoman‘s Javicia Leslie, Love Is star Michele Weaver, and Queen Sugar‘s Tanyell Waivers, your holiday-movie-watching situation is going to be quite the Christmas treat!

The OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network will premiere two all-new original Christmas movies this December for the annual OWN for the Holidays programming event.

First up: “The Great Holiday Bake War” starring original Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett and former “Saturday Night Live” star Finesse Mitchell, which is set to premiere on Saturday, December 3rd. The second new film on the festive slate is “A Christmas Fumble” starring “America’s Next Top Model” winner Eva Marcille and Devale Ellis (“Tyler Perry’s Sistas”).

Three original Christmas movies and a holiday cook-off are coming OWN for the Holidays this year at the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network!  For the third consecutive year, the network is celebrating the season of giving with heartwarming holiday movies along with a festive special to fill you with cheer.

Up first? The kick-off of a reality competition cook-off!

Kym Whitley will host “The Big Holiday Food Fight,” a five-episode series that will air Tuesday nights beginning in November, which will serve as a festive lead-in for the three original Christmas movies starring network favorites, Meagan Holder (“Cooking Up Christmas”), Brad James (“For Better or Worse”), Deborah Joy Winans (“Greenleaf”), Kendrick Cross (“Ambitions”), Andra Fuller (“The Haves and the Have Nots”) and Rhyon Nicole Brown (“For Better or Worse”)!

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network is your ‘OWN for the Holidays’ this year with three heartwarming all-new Christmas movies that are sure to get you and your family in the spirit this season!

Continuing its holiday tradition of original festive programming, the lineup includes films lead by Vivica A. Fox, Jackée Harry, Morgan Dixon, Meagan Holder, Tonea Stewart, Idara Victor, and network stars, including Greenleaf‘s Lamman Rucker, Jen Harper, Laparee Young, Lindsey Amani Blackwell from David Makes Man, and Queen Sugar‘s Amanda Tavarez.

“Following the overwhelming success of our inaugural holiday movie slate last year, we’re excited to announce all-new movies with heartwarming storylines the whole family can enjoy,” said Tina Perry, president, OWN. “We hope that viewers will continue to make watching our movies together a part of their ongoing holiday traditions.”

Additionally, to kick off the month of December, OWN will air Our OWN Christmas — a music special hosted by Meagan Good and DeVonFranklin featuring gospel, hip-hop and R&B artists from across the country as they celebrate the holidays in their “OWN” unique ways!
