It’s Christmas Day, and we’re wishing you and your loved ones the merriest day! We hope your Christmas is safe, cozy and filled with holiday cheer. As always, we enjoy carrying on our beloved mother’s memory through LollyChristmas.com, and we look forward to celebrating the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ with you in 2024, and beyond.

Our mother, Lolly, loved Christmas and raised us to carry the spirit of the season no matter what the date on the calendar says. There’s no “correct” time to listen to Christmas carols, plan your decorations or watch a holiday movie—anytime is the right time to be merry and “stay merry,” that was her motto.

That said, today *is* the big day, and we hope your day is filled with Christmas spirit. When you look at your tree today or sing a carol, we hope you’ll think of our beloved Lolly Christmas and send a “Merry Christmas” wish to her. ♥️

We look forward to the announcement of the PENTATONIX annual Christmas album, and this year they did not disappoint because we’re getting a greatest hits collection filled with beloved favorites and brand new songs to rock round the tree with!

The Grammy-winning a cappella group has announced their seventh holiday offering, Pentatonix: The Greatest Christmas Hits, a 2-disc set filled with 23 Christmas classics and 8 all-new songs—including “Please Santa Please,” a track which will release as a single on September 25th.

There are a lot of new Christmas albums out this year, but there are also a lot of isolated songs that get released during the holiday season. We’ve compiled a list, which will continue to grow (so keep checking back!), of some of the latest holiday singles—and some stand-out tracks from recent yuletide albums—that we think you might enjoy! Check out the list below, and give them a listen.

‘Tis the season to stream with Disney+ as the streaming service celebrates the holidays with all-new original content that will bring on the cheer for the whole family!  The “Happy Holidays” Collection will be your hub to find holiday-themed episodes of your favorite shows, movies, specials, and even wintry content to take you through the new year.

Tim Allen returns as Santa Claus in the limited original series, “The Santa Clauses”, a capella music group Pentatonix will head their first Disney+ Christmas music special with “Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays,“ Tituss Burgess will host a festive competition about snow sculptures with “Best in Snow,“ Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy” gets its own holiday special, and RUN DMC‘s Rev Run teams up with professional dancers Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Allison Holker, and the Jabbawockeez for “Hip Hop Nutcracker”!

Subscribers can expect new specials coming to the service, such as “Mickey Saves Christmas” and new holiday episodes of “Puppy Dog Pals”, “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends”, “The Villains of Valley View”, “Raven’s Home”, “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery”, and “Eureka!”.

You’ll find your seasonal favorites like the “Home Alone” collection, “The Santa Clause” trilogy, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,“ the “Frozen” franchise, and more!  There will also be a plethora of non-festive exclusive new content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic to help fill your season with cheer even beyond the holiday scope.

In what basically feels like a holiday tradition at this point, PENTATONIX is releasing a brand new Christmas album this year! The a capella super group is gearing up to launch “Holidays Around the World,“ their sixth festive album that is set to release tomorrow, October 28th.

One might think the talented crew is running out of holiday classics, but they’ve found a beautiful way to honor the spirit of the season… they went global. PTX (as they’re called by their dedicated fans) members Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee collaborated with talented artists from around the world, including Congolese gospel singer Grace Lokwa, Chinese pianist Lang Lang, Lebanese singer Hiba Tawaji, Latin band La Santa Cecilia, Indian vocalist Shreya Ghoshal, Japanese singers HIKAKIN & SEIKIN, British a cappella group The King’s Singers and Filipino singer Lea Salonga—a Broadway powerhouse who is also known for being the singing voice of Disney Princesses Jasmine and Mulan.

There aren’t too many full holiday album releases this year, but there are many new songs!  Quite a few artists have re-released their Christmas records with bonus tracks too, and there were some new singles and music videos of old favorites that dropped here, which have us boppin’ around our Christmas tree!

We have compiled a list of some stand-out tracks that we wanted to share with you all! Each song is also available to either stream and/or buy on Apple Music, Amazon Music and Spotify.

The magical experience of celebrating the holiday season with Disney returns to the ABC network this year with two festive specials jam-packed with music, magic and your favorite stars as they ring in the season from the ‘happiest place on earth’!

“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration”, hosted by Julianne Hough and Ariana DeBose (“West Side Story”, “Hamilton”, “The Prom”), will air on Sunday, November 28th while sibling powerhouses Derek Hough and Julianne Hough take on the hosting duties in Walt Disney World for the beloved “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” on Christmas morning, Saturday, December 25th.  Freeform’s Trevor Jackson (“grown-ish”) and Sherry Cola (“Good Trouble”) corresponding from the Disneyland Resort.

Performers include: Gwen Stefani, Darren Criss, Kristin Chenoweth, Brett Eldredge, Chance the Rapper, Jimmie Allen, Meg Donnelly, NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot, Pentatonix, Norah Jones, AFTR PARTY, and Sebastián Yatra who will perform “Dos Oruguitas” from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto”.

Get ready to sing in the season with Kelly Clarkson, Michael Bublé, Train and Pentatonix as they perform for this year’s iHeartRadio Holiday Special!

Pentatonix is releasing their sixth Christmas album!  That’s right, three-time GRAMMY award-winning quintet have made releasing Christmas music somewhat of a holiday tradition at this point.

We’re here for that type of spirit.

The album, Evergreen, will release on October 29th and will feature 14-tracks, including PTX’s rendition of the 1945 big band-era song,”It’s Been A Long, Long Time”. The song is written from the perspective of welcoming home a loved on from war, so it feels fitting to include it as so many are reuniting with loved ones this Christmas.

The a cappella group played upon those feelings of yearning to hear from a loved one by covering Stevie Wonder’s 1984 classic, “I Just Called To Say I Love You”.

The time-honored tradition of lighting the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree will take place tonight during the NBC special, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,“ with a live telecast hosted by “TODAY” show co-anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Al Roker.

The iconic special will feature performances from top names in the business like Kelly Clarkson, Goo Goo Dolls, Earth, Wind & Fire, Brett Eldredge, Jimmy Fallon, Tori Kelly, Dolly Parton, Pentatonix, Dan + Shay, Gwen Stefani, Meghan Trainor, as well as the cast of Broadway’s “Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations” and the legendary Radio City Rockettes.
