Last night Lifetime premiered one of the movies from their highly anticipated holiday lineup, “Poinsettias for Christmas”. When Ellie Palmer (Bethany Joy Lenz) returns home to help her father save their family poinsettia farm, she ends up falling for the local botanist.

In the film, Ellie wears a lot of cute casual clothes that, trust me, I’m on the hunt to find — but, one piece in particular is a stylish burgundy trucker jacket that features a cozy lining. This is a very popular jacket, but it’s not often that I see it in such a rich jewel tone.

I loved it, so I had to find it — and I think I did! After comparing the details, I believe I found the exact jacket worn in the film — the Topshop Borg Trim Oversize Corduroy Jacket.

Sizes are limited, but the jacket is still available at Nordstrom.com for $130.

I’ve been coming across many items from “Poinsettias for Christmas” over the past few weeks, so I thought I’d update this post and share what I’ve found.

The Lifetime network is going to be a very special place for fans of the hit television series “One Tree Hill” this holiday season! The long-running series had its finale in 2012, but clearly it’s the show that keeps giving even long after its ended and, this year, its former stars are spreading some yuletide cheer! Not only will five cast members reunite for “The Christmas Contract” airing on Thanksgiving, but their former co-star Bethany Joy Lenz will premiere her movie “Poinsettias for Christmas” the following night along with another OTH-er, Sharon Lawrence!

More ‘OTH family’ members, as fans of the show refer to them, Stephen Colletti (“Hometown Christmas”), Daphne Zuniga (“A Christmas Arrangement”), and Shantel VanSanten (“Love for Christmas”) will also have movies part of the “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday programming.

But, wait, there’s more!

Hilarie Burton, Tyler Hilton, Danneel Ackles, Antwon Tanner (“The Christmas Contract”) and Stephen Colletti are all set to host “‘Tis the Season: A One Tree Hill Cast Reunion”, a one-hour special following the premiere of “The Christmas Contract” on November 22nd at 10pm EST/PST.

The special also promises a few surprise special guests! I can’t wait to find out who they are!

You may remember a post from a few weeks ago about former “One Tree Hill” costars Bethany Joy Lenz and Sharon Lawrence starting production on an upcoming movie titled “Poinsettias for Christmas” (formally “Poinsettia”), well, there weren’t many details at the time — but, now that production is wrapping up, there’s a lot more to tell.

The holiday film, which is set to air on the Lifetime network later this year for their “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” lineup, will star Lenz as Ellie Palmer and Lawrence as Katherine Palmer, and will also feature John Schneider (“The Dukes of Hazzard”, “Smallville”), Lauren London (“The Game”), Marcus Rosner (“When Calls the Heart”) and Rhonda Dent (“The Mistletoe Inn”).

Dedicated Hallmark Channel viewers will be familiar with Bethany Joy Lenz in fan-favorites “The Christmas Secret” and, more recently, “Royal Matchmaker”; you may have also caught her in last year’s Lifetime holiday flick, “Snowed-Inn Christmas”, but to all of those “One Tree Hill” fans out there– you’ll be especially excited to see that she’s teaming up with a former OTH co-star for yet another Christmas movie!

Joy will work with Sharon Lawrence, once again, on the TV movie “Poinsettia”.

The details are very slim right now, but Christie Will Wolf will direct based off of Barbara Kymlicka‘s screenplay, and I’m assuming the movie will either air on one of the Hallmark networks or Lifetime in time for the holidays later this year.

I’m very excited for this one so, as details become available, I will keep you posted!
