Count down the days until Christmas, literally, with the return of the annual daily holiday television binge event (say that 25x fast!)—Freeform’s 25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS!  The network officially rolled out the schedule for December this morning, and it’s jam-packed with beloved favorites, including “The Santa Clause” trilogy, “Home Alone,” “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000), and classics like “Frosty the Snowman” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

Freeform will also debut the network premieres of the Disney+ films “Noelle” starring Anna Kendrick, “Godmothered” starring Jillian Bell and “The Naughty Nine”—a brand new original that recently premiered on the magical streaming service.

More holiday hits will be part of the lineup, such as the family classics “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas,” “Miracle on 34th Street” (1994), “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” and “Frozen,” and the “Toy Story” franchise.

Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas begins on Friday, December 1st and runs through Christmas Day!

Last month we got our first official look at Tim Allen‘s return to his role as Scott Calvin (aka Santa Claus) in “The Santa Clauses”—a limited original new series coming to Disney+ next month, and now we have the official trailer!

Synopsis: After being Santa Claus for nearly thirty years, he’s as jolly as ever. But as Christmas declines in popularity, so does his Santa magic. Scott struggles to keep up with the demands of the job, as well as being there for his family. Upon discovering there is a way to retire from his post, Scott considers stepping down as Santa Claus and finding a worthy successor so that he can become a better father and husband.

Check out the official trailer below to see Allen alongside Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus (Carol), Austin Kane, Elizabeth Allen Dick (Allen’s real-life daughter), Kal Penn, Rupali Redd, Devin Bright, and Matilda Lawler.  In the trailer, we see that Eric Lloyd and David Krumholtz will reprise their roles as the beloved characters, Charlie Calvin and Bernard the Elf, respectively.

“The Santa Clauses” will begin streaming November 16th on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere!

The teaser trailer for “The Santa Clauses,“ a new limited series coming to Disney+ this holiday season, which marks the return of Tim Allen as Santa Claus, has officially dropped during the D23Expo. The original series picks up where The Santa Clause trilogy leaves off… but this Christmas, jolly Scott Calvin is retiring!

Elizabeth Mitchell will reprise her role as Mrs. Claus (Carol) while Austin Kane and Elizabeth Allen Dick (Allen’s real-life daughter) will join the cast playing the roles of Santa and Mrs. Claus’ children, Cal and Santa.  Read more about the movie here, and check out the trailer to see if you notice any other familiar faces… *wink*

Here is your first look at the cast of “The Santa Clauses”!

Earlier this year, it was announced that Tim Allen would once again put on the iconic red Santa Claus suit for the Disney+ Original limited series, “The Santa Clauses”, based off the beloved Walt Disney Pictures’ “The Santa Clause” movie franchise that followed Scott Calvin (Allen) as he took on the unexpected role of Santa Claus.  The story started with 1994’s “The Santa Clause” before expanding to two sequels, 2002’s “The Santa Clause 2” and 2006’s “The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause.”

For the Disney Original Series, Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

Elizabeth Mitchell will reprise her role as Mrs. Claus (Carol) while Austin Kane and Elizabeth Allen Dick (Allen’s real-life daughter) will join the cast playing the roles of Santa and Mrs. Claus’ children, Cal and Santa.

Kal Penn will play the role of Simon Choksi, an ambitious game inventor and product developer who is a single dad to the Christmas-loving Grace (Rupali Redd), and the two will visit the North Pole for a grand adventure.  Devin Bright plays Noel, Santa’s trusted right-hand elf and Matilda Lawler takes on the role of Santa’s demanding Chief of Staff, Betty.

Unfortunately, there’s no word on whether Eric Lloyd who played the role of Santa’s son, Charlie, in the movies will make a cameo at all in the series.

The launch of the Disney+ is drawing near, and to celebrate, the @DisneyPlus Twitter revealed the massive library of movies, shows and specials that will be available on the streaming service — and it’s IMPRESSIVE!  The long list includes brand-new original features, several MCU movies, almost every Disney Channel original series that ever aired, and movies spanning 80 years!

Your whole family will undoubtedly be bitten by the magical nostalgia bug.
