Legendary rock band, Chicago, are gearing up for the holiday season by planning the release of their upcoming album, CHICAGO CHRISTMAS!

The Christmas album will be the band’s 37th album — and the fourth in their holiday collection. You can find a tracklist below, which will include classics like “Sleigh Ride” (previously heard on 2011’s Chicago XXXIII: O Christmas Thee) and “Here We Come A Caroling” as well as original songs: “All Over the World”, “(Because) It’s Christmastime”, and “I’m Your Santa Claus”. The album also features R&B and ballad versions of “Merry Christmas, I Love You,” a song that founding member Lee Loughnane wrote with John Durrill of The Ventures.

A cover of the Hal David and Burt Bacharach classic, “What The World Needs Now Is Love,” will also be included, which founding member Robert Lamm thought had a timely message for the holidays.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will release their festive record on October 4th, available on CD as well as through all digital and streaming services. Additionally, on November 22, a black vinyl version and a limited edition red and white vinyl version will be available, however, the limited vinyl will be exclusively sold through Rhino.com while the black version will be generally sold.
