Chaley Rose and Rome Flynn star in the new Hallmark Channel movie, “A Christmas Duet”, as a former music group (and couple!) who are reunited at Christmas years after ending their relationship.
Averie Davis (Rose) wears a beautiful burgundy Burberry ‘Gibbsmoore’ Funnel Collar Trench Coat with cool grommet belt detail at the waist and wrists. Unfortunately, this coat is sold out, but I found a cool lookalike with this Michael Kors look.
(Updated on 12/11/19) I caught up with the costume designer, Barbara Gregusova, who shared the scoop on some other items worn in the movie that I’ve worked into this post!
The knitted white sweater that Averie is wearing when she bumps into Jesse (Flynn) is the Something Navy Cable Sweater, which is exclusively available at Nordstrom.com.
Averie layers a dark green duffle coat over the sweater; the Brooks Brothers Wool Double-Faced Toggle Coat, to be exact! This coat is currently on sale at BrooksBrothers.com.
Keeping in theme with a festive palette, Averie wears a casual red down jacket with a defined waist. This is the Laundry By Shelli Segal Cinched Waist Puffer Jacket in Lipstick Red, which is available in 3 colors at HauteLook.com.
FYI: This is also the coat that Rose wears for the official movie key art! It’s also seen on actress Kate Trotter in Hallmark’s “The Christmas Club”.
I guess when you spend Christmas in Vermont every year, you’re bound to have plethora of coats! We see Averie in another green coat later in the movie, this time it’s the MICHAEL Michael Kors Down Jacket with a drawstring waist. This is available in several colors at Yoox.com for under $150.

Teryl Rothery plays the role of Phyllis Selig, a well-respected travel critic who is scoping out the inn that Averie runs while things go haywire for the annual Yuletide Festival. In this scene, she writes up notes about the inn and looks good doing it while dressed in a Ted Baker ‘Sandra’ Long Wool Wrap Coat in Burgundy (available at TedBaker.com).
FYI: This is a favorite coat amongst Hallmark movies! It can be seen in “A Shoe Addict’s Christmas”, “Hope at Christmas”, “Mingle All the Way”, and “Christmas in Rome”.

Once again, Phyllis turned to the same style coat as before–this time, in navy blue!
She layered the dark Ted Baker ‘Sandra’ Long Wool Wrap Coat (available at TedBaker.com) over a burgundy sweater, which she accessorized with matching wool gloves and a crossbody bag.
A rich shade of plum looks beautiful on Averie, so it’s needless to say that this Rag + Bone ‘Pamela’ Merino Wool Sweater in Magenta was a great choice.

FYI: There is a v-neck version of this sweater that is worn in Hallmark’s “Write Before Christmas” and “A Christmas Love Story”, as well as Netflix’s “The Knight Before Christmas”!
For the Yuletide Festival, Jesse opted for a Massimo Dutti Nappa Jacket in Navy — which is interesting to note that the blue hue is so dark and muted that it actually comes off as black. I love the subtlety. Sadly, this jacket is sold out at MassimoDutti.com.
For the Averie & Jesse performance of “Wouldn’t Be Christmas”, Averie wears a gorgeous champagne gold dress. This exact look is the Dress the Population ‘Delilah’ Plunging A-Line Midi Dress, which was altered for the movie to include a layer in the v-neckline.

Like many other Hallmark Christmas movies, this film had an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, so let’s breakdown the festive looks the party-goers wore!

Hi! I realize this movie was released last year, but do you have any information about the sweater that she wore toward the end of the movie that was cream with a lace inlet on the shoulders and from the elbow to the wrist?
While there are some beautiful items here my wife would look stunning in, I was hoping you had the 411 on where to find those red gloves so many women wore in the movie Project Christmas Wish. They would go great with a couple of her outfits!
