It may not even be Halloween yet, but The CW has already announced their upcoming holiday programming slate…and you don’t hear any complaints from me!

In the midst of their regular primetime offerings, The CW will also be airing many festive events and movies, including the animated classic “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, the specials “Penn & Teller: Merry Fool Us”, “The Christmas Caroler Challenge”, the annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert, which will be a virtual event given the pandemic, and the all-new musical film documentary, “Silent Night – A Song for the World”, starring Kelly Clarkson, Joss Stone, David Foster, Kathrine McPhee, Randy Jackson, Josh Groban, and many more!

Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer | Friday, November 27 at 8-9 p.m.
Based on the hit song that became a worldwide holiday phenomenon, this goofy and heartwarming adventure features young Jake Spankenheimer on the quest of a lifetime to track his missing Grandma down on Christmas Eve to prove that Santa Claus is indeed real. Michele Lee (“Knots Landing”) provides the voice of Jake’s greedy Cousin Mel and recording artist Elmo Shropshire provides the narration. An encore presentation of GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER will air on Monday, December 21 (8:00-9:00pm ET).

The Hollywood Christmas Parade: Greatest Moments | Friday, December 4 at 8-10 p.m.
The special will highlight all the greatest and most special moments of the past parades. The celebration is presented and produced by Associated Television International.

Greatest Holiday Commercials Countdown 2020 | Wednesday, December 9 at 9-10 p.m.
Entertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight return to host. This holiday special will countdown the 12 best holiday commercials ever – one for each of the 12 days of Christmas. In addition to the top 12, the special features other great commercials from both the U.S. and abroad, that capture the true spirit of the holiday season – from the heartfelt to the hilarious, from the outstanding to the ridiculous. An encore presentation will air Monday, December 21 (9:00-10:00pm ET).

Silent Night – A Song for the World | Thursday, December 10 at 8-10 p.m.
A musical film documentary about the creation and cultural impact of the world’s most famous Christmas carol, composed in 1818 in Salzburg. Translated into 140 languages, Silent Night caused a Christmas ceasefire in World War I, while Bing Crosby’s version is the third best-selling single ever. In short: A song for the world! The film tells the story of Silent Night, narrated by Hugh Bonneville, with new recordings by global stars in different languages with a cast including Kelly Clarkson, Joss Stone, John Rhys-Davies, David Foster, Kathrine McPhee, Randy Jackson, Gavin Rossdale, Sheléa, Ailee, Josh Groban, The Vienna Boys Choir, Anggun, Lina Makhoul, The Tenors, Rolando Villazón and many more. The special was created and directed by Award winning director Hannes M. Schalle and produced by Marlene Beran of Moonlake Entertainment. An encore presentation will air Wednesday, December 23 (8:00-10:00pm ET).

The Christmas Caroler Challenge | Friday, December 11 at 8-10 p.m.
Hosted by Dean Cain and Laura McKenzie, the three-episode two hour-long Christmas caroling competition event series features 10 extraordinary Christmas carol groups, each with their own stylized brand of performance, in celebrating the great Christmas music we have all come to love. We’ll meet these groups from the most elaborate ultra-traditional virtuoso performances to those with the most unexpected twists on the classic Christmas carol. Each group which will be judged by three celebrity judges.

2020 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball | Monday, December 14 at 8 p.m./7c
iHeartMedia will celebrate the holiday season across the nation with its annual iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Presented by Capital One – the season’s most anticipated holiday music event — with this year’s performances by an unparalleled lineup of the biggest names in music today, including Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes and more. Although fans are unable to attend the 2020 national iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in person, given the limitations on live events during the pandemic, this year’s virtual event will invite music fans into the homes of today’s top artists to share their personal holiday traditions and perform their biggest hits along with never-before-heard covers of iconic holiday songs.

This year’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball will broadcast across more than 95 iHeartMedia CHR radio stations nationwide and on the iHeartRadio App and will also stream on The CW App and CWTV.com on Thursday, December 10 at 9:00 p.m. EST/6:00 p.m. PST.

Penn & Teller: Merry Fool Us | Wednesday, December 16 at 9-10 p.m.
The magical duo of Penn & Teller is joined by host Alyson Hannigan (“How I Met Your Mother”) to help kick off the holiday season with this all-new special complete with magicians, costumes and a Christmas Trophy! An encore presentation of PENN & TELLER: MERRY FOOL US will air on Monday, Dec. 16 (8:00-9:00pm ET).

Dogs of the Year | Thursday, December 17 at 8-9 p.m.
This special counts down the Top 10 dog stories of 2020, celebrating the dogs that go above and beyond, that leave their mark on society, and achieve the nearly impossible. An encore presentation of DOGS OF THE YEAR will air Wednesday, December 30 (9:00-10:00pm ET).

Master of Illusion: Christmas Magic 2020 | Sunday, December 20 at 8-9 p.m.
Presented by Associated Television International and based on polls from Popstar Magazine, host Elizabeth Stanton will count down the greatest and most memorable moments and trends of 2020.

Popstar’s Best of 2020 | Tuesday, December 29 at 8-9 p.m.
