CBS is bringing on the merry for the holidays with their ‘More the Merrier’ programming event filled with an giant collection of seasonal specials that will be fun for the whole family!

The network will kick off their lineup this November with the beloved tradition of the “CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade”, but you’ll be able to catch more returning favorites like “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”, “Frosty the Snowman” and “Robbie the Reindeer”, last year’s original movies “A Christmas Proposal” and “Christmas Takes Flight” as well as three brand-new original movies, “Fit For Christmas”, “Must Love Christmas” and “When Christmas Was Young”.

LL Cool J will return to host the 100th annual “National Christmas Tree Lighting” ceremony in Washington, D.C. joined by Gloria Estefan, Andy Grammer, Joss Stone and Shania Twain, and more!  “A Home for the Holidays at The Grove” will return the week of Christmas with performances by Estefan, Grammer, Little Big Town and David Foster & Kat McPhee, and the year will close out with the “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash”!

Friday, Nov. 11

‘Tis the season to share videos, and Cedric the Entertainer is serving up a double dose of holiday cheer with two of his GREATEST #ATHOMEVIDEOS specials. THE GREATEST #ATHOMETHANKS&GIVINGVIDEOS delivers a full hour of entertaining and heartfelt videos Cedric has found on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. It’s bound to have viewers feeling warm and fuzzy as they begin the holiday season.

Thursday, Nov. 24

The CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade | 9:00am-12:00pm live ET; 8:00-11:00am live CT; 7:00-10:00am live MT; and 9:00am-12:00pm, delayed PT

Returning to Sixth Avenue, the special will feature portions of the 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade live from N.Y.C. This year’s event, hosted by Entertainment Tonight‘s Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight, will take viewers on a tour of the most popular balloons and floats, including the iconic Santa Claus. The show will also feature musical performances, performers from the Broadway musicals “Moulin Rouge” and “SIX the Musical, and celebrity interviews—including actors from popular CBS series, such as Jeremy Sisto (FBI), Liza Lapira (The Equalizer) and bandleader Louis Cato (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert).

The parade will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Frosty the Snowman | 8:00 PM, ET/PT  &  Frosty Returns | 8:30 PM, ET/PT

Frosty, that “jolly, happy soul” whose old silk hat full of magic has turned him into a musical Christmas legend, once again demonstrates his unique showmanship.

A Christmas Proposal | 9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT

A down-on-her-luck chef, Maria Winters (Jessica Camacho), who dreams of starting her own line of food trucks, agrees to pose as the girlfriend of a hotshot Seattle attorney, Julian Diaz (Adam Rodriguez), visiting his family for Christmas, to help him prove he’s the ideal candidate to take over the family firm. But their business arrangement is complicated by the magic of the season as real sparks begin to fly.

Robbie the Reindeer: Hooves of Fire | 8:00 PM, ET/PT

In this animated special, Robbie must train to compete in the Reindeer Races to become a part of the sleigh team for Santa.

Robbie the Reindeer: Legends of the Lost Tribe | 8:30 PM, ET/PT)

In the second of two 30-minute specials, Robbie battles Blitzen in an effort to stop his nemesis’ launch of a reindeer theme park.

The Story of Santa Claus | 9:00 PM, ET/PT

This animated musical holiday special revolves around a gentle toymaker whose only wish is to deliver a toy to every child on Christmas.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer | (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT)

This favorite is a music story based on the popular song of the same name by Johnny Marks. It recounts the tale of a shy reindeer whose Christmas spirit is dampened because his shiny nose has made him the laughingstock of all of Christmasville.

Celebrate the holiday season with a new one-hour animated special filled with joy and magic for the whole family, REINDEER IN HERE®. This is the holiday tale of Audrey (Amanda Kloots, The Talk), an enthusiastic Christmas-obsessed fitness instructor teaching classes at her beloved, financially beleaguered community center in quaint Mistletoe, Mont. She begins a holiday romance with a charming, mysterious businessman (Paul Greene), complicating his plans to turn the center into a more financially profitable resort property. Kloots co-wrote the film story and serves as executive producer.

The National Christmas Tree Lighting Celebrating 100 Years | 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT

GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist, actor and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer LL COOL J will light up this holiday season as host of the National Christmas Tree Lighting on the Ellipse in President’s Park in Washington, D.C., which will celebrate its 100th year of the tradition. Presented by the National Park Service (NPS) and National Park Foundation (NPF), this holiday special will feature Gloria Estefan, Andy Grammer, Joss Stone, Shania Twain, “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, and more singing holiday classics. A new two-hour primetime concert special from the Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey!
