Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer are bringing on the holiday cheer this year with a ‘spirited’ modern retelling of the Charles Dickens classic tale, “A Christmas Carol,” with their brand new Apple Original Film, “Spirited”!

Reynolds stars as Clint Briggs, a miserly misanthrope who’s taken on a magical journey with four ghosts on Christmas Eve, including Ferrell who plays Ghost of Christmas Present.

A teaser came out a few weeks ago, but the official trailer just dropped today and we had to share it right away!  This is not your usual take on this story—it’s jam-packed with high-energy musical numbers for starters.

There will be a soundtrack coming out on Friday, November 18 f featuring songs by Reynolds, Ferrell, Spencer and the cast ensemble, which also includes Tracy Morgan (Vote of Ghost of Yet-To-Come) and Sunita Mani (Ghost of Christmas Past). One of the tracks, “Bringing’ Back Christmas,” is currently available on all streaming platforms and iTunes.
