In what basically feels like a holiday tradition at this point, PENTATONIX is releasing a brand new Christmas album this year! The a capella super group is gearing up to launch “Holidays Around the World,“ their sixth festive album that is set to release tomorrow, October 28th.

One might think the talented crew is running out of holiday classics, but they’ve found a beautiful way to honor the spirit of the season… they went global. PTX (as they’re called by their dedicated fans) members Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee collaborated with talented artists from around the world, including Congolese gospel singer Grace Lokwa, Chinese pianist Lang Lang, Lebanese singer Hiba Tawaji, Latin band La Santa Cecilia, Indian vocalist Shreya Ghoshal, Japanese singers HIKAKIN & SEIKIN, British a cappella group The King’s Singers and Filipino singer Lea Salonga—a Broadway powerhouse who is also known for being the singing voice of Disney Princesses Jasmine and Mulan.

BET+ original Christmas movies are back and they’re more festive than ever! This year’s offering includes 10 all-new holiday films filled with joy, family, music, comedy, and of course—some merry music magic.

‘Tis the season to stream Black on BET+ with starring top talent like Jasmine Guy, Terrence Carson and Dorien Wilson, Ne-Yo, Serayah, Romeo Miller, LeToya Luckett and LaLa Milan. These authentic stories of family and love during the holiday season are being told with the help of a large roster of directors, writers, and other creators of color, such as Victoria Rowell, Robin Givens, Bree West and Patricia Cuffie Jones.

There is a lot to look forward to, and it all kicks off on November 3rd with the premiere of “A Wesley Christmas” that tells the individual stories of adult siblings who return home to celebrate Christmas with their parents (Guy, Wilson) and extended family, but sometimes family reunions can turn messy…especially during the holidays.

Mariah Carey‘s Christmas music is a holiday staple in families homes all over the globe, and now she can add a new Christmas fairytale to your tradition! The ‘Queen of Christmas’ is preparing to release “The Christmas Princess,“ a picture book written by Carey with Michaela Angela Davis and illustrated by Fuuji Takashi.

The story tells the fale of Little Mariah, who doesn’t have much and doesn’t want a lot…except for a peaceful and joyous holiday season. Plagued with feelings of being an outcast, Little Mariah embarks on a winter wonderland journey to discover the healing power of her voice to spread the spirit of Christmas throughout the world.

You can pre-order “The Christmas Princess” wherever books are sold, including Amazon, before it’s released on Tuesday, November 1st!

Now, THIS looks like a fun and festive watch for the whole family!

Marvel Studios released an official trailer for “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special,“ which is set to begin streaming on the Disney+ service this November 25th. In the special, a mission to make Christmas unforgettable for Quill finds the Guardians heading to Earth in search of the perfect present… Kevin Bacon?

The special stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, and Sean Gunn as their beloved ‘Guardians’ characters.

It’s not quite November, but The CW television network is ready to deck the halls by unveiling their holiday programming lineup for later this year. The merry festivities will kick off in late November with the holiday special, “A Waltons Thanksgiving”, and the beloved animated classic, “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer”, and the schedule will be jam-packed with yuletide cheer featuring annual traditions, such as the 90th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, “Silent Night – A Song for the World”, “Penn & Teller: Merry Fool Us”, iHeartRadio Jingle Ball, and many more seasonal highlights.

In recognition of World AIDS Day, the network will also air an encore presentation of the acclaimed documentary, “Freddie Mercury: The Final Act”, which showcases the extraordinary final chapter of the Queen front-man’s life and how his legacy led to one of the biggest concerts in history—the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium.

A Waltons Thanksgiving | Sunday, November 20 at 8-10 p.m. ET
A follow-up to the highly successful The Waltons’ Homecoming, the movie reunites the Walton family as they prepare for Thanksgiving in 1934. The Depression has affected everyone, but John Walton has found a way to provide for his family through the farm and by picking up odd jobs from the eccentric Baldwin Sisters. Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer | Friday, November 25 at 8-9 p.m. ET
This one-hour special, based on the hit song that became a worldwide holiday phenomenon, is a goofy and heartwarming adventure that features young Jake Spankenheimer on the quest of a lifetime to track his missing Grandma down on Christmas Eve to prove that Santa Claus is indeed real. Michele Lee (“Knots Landing”) provides the voice of Jake’s greedy Cousin Mel and recording artist Elmo Shropshire provides the narration. Encore presentations will air on Wednesday, December 14 (8:00-9:00pm ET) and Friday, December 23 (8:00-9:00pm ET).

Andrea Bocelli is another music icon who is teaming up with his very own family for a special holiday album! Andrea released “A Family Christmas” today, a collection of holiday songs performed with two of his three children, Matteo and Virginia Bocelli.

The album was produced by composer and multi-Grammy and Academy Award nominee Stephan Moccio and set to stunning new arrangements. The 13-track Christmas collective features traditional favorites, such as “Do You Hear What I Hear?,” “The First Noël,” “Joy To The World,” “Buon Natale,” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”—the lead single is “The Greatest Gift”, which you can watch the music video for below.

If you loved Norah Jones’ first Christmas album, “I Dream of Christmas,“ which released last year—you’ll be happy to know that the singer re-released it for the new holiday season with a special deluxe 2-disc edition!

The original 13-track collective of festive tunes now has 11 additional songs, including a “I Dream of Christmas” title track and five live versions of other songs that Norah performed at the Empire State Building in New York City.

CBS is bringing on the merry for the holidays with their ‘More the Merrier’ programming event filled with an giant collection of seasonal specials that will be fun for the whole family!

The network will kick off their lineup this November with the beloved tradition of the “CBS Thanksgiving Day Parade”, but you’ll be able to catch more returning favorites like “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”, “Frosty the Snowman” and “Robbie the Reindeer”, last year’s original movies “A Christmas Proposal” and “Christmas Takes Flight” as well as three brand-new original movies, “Fit For Christmas”, “Must Love Christmas” and “When Christmas Was Young”.

LL Cool J will return to host the 100th annual “National Christmas Tree Lighting” ceremony in Washington, D.C. joined by Gloria Estefan, Andy Grammer, Joss Stone and Shania Twain, and more!  “A Home for the Holidays at The Grove” will return the week of Christmas with performances by Estefan, Grammer, Little Big Town and David Foster & Kat McPhee, and the year will close out with the “New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash”!

Dolly Parton has re-released her #1 best-selling 2020 holiday album, “A Holly Dolly Christmas,“ as an ultimate deluxe expansion that includes 8 additional tracks—including a duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with Rod Stewart from his Grammy Award-winning 2004 album, “Stardust…the Great American Songbook, Volume III.”

Grammy Award winning music icon, Gloria Estefan, is releasing new Christmas music this holiday season and joining forces with her daughter, Emily Estefan, and her grandson, Sasha Estefan-Coppola, on an album. The three will release “Estefan Family Christmas,“ on October 13th; her first and only Christmas album, “Christmas Through Your Eyes,” was released nearly 30 years ago, so this is a highly-anticipated holiday release.

This is such a special project to do with your multi-generational family, and a wonderful Christmas memory their family can treasure while also creating something timeless for families all over the world to listen to throughout the holiday season. There are even appearances from other family members—including Gloria’s husband, Grammy Award winner Emilio Estefan, Jr.—on songs such as “The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late)” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” as Sasha’s parents Nayib Estefan and Lara Estefan Coppola are featured.
