Kelly Rowland stars in her first Christmas movie this year with “Merry Liddle Christmas”, which recently premiered on the Lifetime network. In the movie, Rowland plays Jacquie Liddle, a successful digital entrepreneur who invites her family to her dream home for the holidays in the hopes of advancing her career with a special opportunity. Christmas chaos ensues, the plan backfires, and Jacquie may find a little love on the way with Tyler Brooks (played by Thomas Cadrot).

Emily Gray was the costume designer for this movie and gave me a little scoop on some of the fashion from the movie!  First things first, the pretty blue smocked dress that’s worn in the promotional photos (above) as well as scene in the movie is the Wilfred ‘Laken’ Long-Sleeve Chiffon Dress in Pure Indigo, which is currently on sale at Aritzia.com.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict stars in a new Lifetime Christmas movie this year, “A Very Vintage Christmas”, about an antique shop owner who finds a hidden box containing a collection of mementos. Feeling the holiday spirit, she decides to make it her mission to deliver it to its rightful owner.

Patricia Hargreaves worked on the film as the costume designer and, true to its name, Tia’s wardrobe as her character Dodie Brite was indeed vintage!

Kelly Rowland is starring in her first Lifetime Christmas movie this year!

The beloved R&B singer is leading Merry Liddle Christmas, which is set to premiere during the It’s a Wonderful Lifetime holiday programming event this weekend — and to celebrate the movie, she released a brand new Christmas song that will be included in the movie!

“Love You More at Christmas Time” is available now on all digital platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.  Don’t miss Merry Liddle Christmas, also starring Thomas Cadrot and Debbi Morgan, when it premieres Saturday, November 30th on Lifetime!

Soleil Moon Frye is starring in a Lifetime Christmas movie this year that will be part of the annual It’s a Wonderful Lifetime holiday programming event. In “Staging Christmas”, Lori (Frye) is intrigued when a wealthy widower named Everett (George Stults) asks her to stage his home for the holidays to cheer up his daughter, Maddie.

In a early sneak peek of the film, we see Lori dressed for a holiday party in a stunning sequined red gown that’s perfect for a glamorous Christmas event!

She’s wearing the Mac Duggal Sequin Sequin Slit Gown in Chili Pepper, which is currently available for $338 on Nordstrom.com. It’s still available in the red shade as well as black.

Christmas in October is here!  It appears that Lifetime hasn’t been able to wait until their kick off date for It’s A Wonderful Lifetime holiday programming either. While it’s still the plan for the network to air 24-hour Christmas movies beginning on October 25, there have definitely been a lot of Christmas movies on nearly every day since the end of September.

Now, don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been continuous festive programming but, it has been significant.

The lineup for Monday, October 21st has “A Snow Globe Christmas”, “All I Want for Christmas”, “A Very Nutty Christmas”, “A Nanny for Christmas”, “Snowed Inn Christmas”, and “Christmas Lost and Found” airing — they begin airing at 12pm/11c, by the way.

It might seem early–especially if you celebrate Halloween and are the type that likes Lifetime’s usual suspense thrillers in the month of October but, if you’re game to feel a little yuletide cheer then make sure you check out the schedule for festive programming across the board at Lolly’s 2019 Holiday TV Guide to see what’s playing and where you can see it–including Lifetime’s slate.

It’s only October, but a new photo has already been released for Corey Sevier‘s upcoming Lifetime Christmas movie, “Grounded for Christmas”, which is slated for the annual It’s a Wonderful Lifetime lineup this holiday season.

In the photo, we see Corey’s character, Brady, (with co-star Julianna Guill) in a surfing Santa Claus shirt that’s perfect for a tropical holiday getaway. He’s wearing the Alvish Holiday Santa Claus Hawaiian Shirt, which is available at Walmart.com.

If you’re planning a trip to an island this Christmas, or if you want to get a jumpstart on Christmas in July 2020, this is a great wardrobe addition to have!

The 24hr holiday programming for Lifetime’s It’s A Wonderful Lifetime event won’t officially kick off until October 25 but, it looks like the network will be playing a few holiday movies long before that.

According to TV Guide, three encore Christmas movie presentations will air and then repeat into the wee morning hours of October 1st. That’s as far as the listing goes but, tomorrow we’ll know if more movies continue to air early on in October.

I guess it’s Christmas in August because, the full line-up for Lifetime’s holiday programming event, It’s A Wonderful Lifetime, has officially been released!   The network is kicking off Christmas earlier than ever before by giving us all-day holiday programming every day starting on October 25 and running through December 25 -aka- Christmas Day.

Not only can you look forward to continuous festive programming, but Lifetime will also premiere 30 original movies and a brand new holiday special, “Battle of the Christmas Movie Stars”!   Some of your favorite stars are returning for Christmas films, including: Melissa Joan Hart, Kyla Pratt, Hilarie Burton, Tatyana Ali, Tia Mowry-Hardict, Sarah Drew, Megan Hilty, Kelly Rowland, Loretta Devine, Jesse Hutch, Tyler Hilton, Patrick Duffy and Marcus Rosner.

Much like last year, Burton and Hilton will reunite with more of their “One Tree Hill” costars for “A Christmas Wish” while other former OTH-ers, Jana Kramer and Moira Kelly, will star in “Christmas in Louisiana”.   I guess these are the gifts that keep giving for all the OTH fans out there!

Louisiana’s largest daily newspaper, The Advocate, recently announced that production had begun in New Iberia for an upcoming Lifetime holiday movie, tentatively titled “Christmas on the River”. The festive flick will star former “One Tree Hill” star-turned-Country singer, Jana Kramer and Percy Daggs III from “Veronica Mars”.

Kramer’s character returns home to New Iberia for Christmas and attends the 50th annual Christmas Sugarcane Festival, where a young woman and man are traditionally crowned ‘King’ and ‘Queen’ of the event each year. For the milestone anniversary, all former ‘royalty’ return to celebrate — including Kramer and Daggs’ characters, which launches a holiday love story.

It’s only the first day of August, and we already have news on FOUR upcoming Christmas movies! Earlier today I told you about Ryan Paevey, Paul Greene, Autumn Reeser and Jesse Metcalfe‘s latest holiday films, and now I have one more festive flick for you from “Grey’s Anatomy” alum Sarah Drew and Ryan McPartlin (“L.A.’s Finest”).

For the past week, the two actors have been posting photos from the Toronto set of their Christmas movie, “Twinkle All the Way”, which can be seen later this year on the Lifetime network as one of the 28 original premieres coming to their annual It’s A Wonderful Lifetime holiday programming.
