We always look forward to seeing the beautiful key art posters that get created for the Hallmark holiday slate each year. Gone are the days of a traditional wintry Christmas background with our stars clad in red and green.  While those were pretty and festive, this new direction allows each movie to stand out while retaining the magic of the season—as much it can in a poster!

There are several posters created for the 2023 lineup of all-new movies coming to Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas lineups (which just got announced this week!), as well as the Hallmark Movies Now’s Movies & Mistletoe exclusive premieres. Among the first batch of released key art:

We can barely contain our excitement because the most festive Christmas movie announcement of the year is finally here! ✨🎄✨

Hallmark has unveiled this year’s holiday lineup, which kicks off on Friday, October 20th, and it’s packed with 40 all-new, original premieres spreading cheer across Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas events as well as Movies & Mistletoe exclusives on the subscription streaming service, Hallmark Movies Now!

The network’s reigning ‘Christmas Queen,’ Lacey Chabert will reunite with former “Party of Five” costars Scott Wolf and Jennifer Aspen in two separate movies—with Wolf in “A Merry Scottish Christmas” and with Aspen in “Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up,” the follow-up to last year’s hit!  Bethany Joy Lenz will join Kristoffer Polaha in “A Biltmore Christmas,” Janel Parrish and Tyler Hynes will co-star in “Never Been Chris’d,” and “Good Witch” co-stars Catherine Bell and James Denton will have their own on-screen reunion in “Christmas on Cherry Lane.”

More fan-favorite stars will return to sleigh as they lead new movies, including: Benjamin Ayres, Jonathan Bennett, Krystal Joy Brown, Warren Christie, Cindy Busby, Erin Cahill, Paul Campbell, Nikki DeLoach, Brooke D’Orsay, Jaicy Elliot, Brennan Elliott, Luke Macfarlane, Niall Matter, Barbara Niven, Ryan Paevey, Brendan Penny, Kristoffer Polaha, Michael Rady, Ronnie Rowe Jr., Kimberley Sustad, Andrew Walker, Victor Webster, and many others!

There will also be plenty of new faces in all-new movies, such as Chris Carmack, Erica Cerra, Mark Ghanimé, Humberly Gonzalez, Grace Leer, Mishael Morgan, William Moseley, Jim O’Heir, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Phylicia Rashad, Vincent Rodriguez III, and Emily Tennant among others.  Former “One Tree Hill” star Bryan Greenberg will join the network alongside Vic Michaelis and Rick Hoffman in this year’s Hanukkah film, “Round and Round.”

Merry Thanksgiving Weekend, will return on Thanksgiving night, November 23rd with the premiere of “Catch Me if You Claus” starring Italia Ricci and Macfarlane, and continues all weekend with double feature premieres at 6 p.m. ET/PT and 8 p.m. ET/PT each night.

Word on the merry street is there will be some Easter Eggs in this year’s features, including surprise appearances from familiar faces, nods to Hallmark past movies and iconic roles!

Erica Durance and Brennan Elliott are making another Christmas movie together!

A superfan of Brennan shared a tweet recently of the two actors on set of an upcoming Christmas movie, and he retweeted it… and we’re so excited!

The working title of the movie is It Happened at Christmas, and is believed to be scheduled for a premiere on either Hallmark Channel or Hallmark Movies & Mysteries later this year during the beloved holiday programming slates. The two previously co-starred in “Open by Christmas” for the Hallmark Channel network back in 2021.

You can finally find more Hallmark Christmas movies on DVD!  Nearly all of your favorites from last year’s Hallmark Channel: Countdown to Christmas and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries: Miracles of Christmas lineups are now available to own as well as some others from recent years, and we’ve compiled a list of them to make it easier to find if your sought after title is among them.

There are many single movie DVDs, but there are a few double-feature and triple-feature collections—the more the merrier, we say!

Sure, a lot of these movies are now airing in rotation given the fact that we’re in the midst of the holiday season, but it’s always nice to be able to pop on your favorite festive tale whenever the spirit of the season grabs you! Which movies are you most excited about?!

Hallmark Media and Peacock officially announced today that they were entering a partnership for live streaming and on-demand programming this holiday season as part of a first-of-its-kind linear plus SVOD deal. Starting Wednesday, November 2nd, viewers will be able to watch Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama Christmas movies, including the original premieres from this year’s Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas slate.

This hub on the Peacock streaming service, which you can sign-up for free with, will feature live simulcasts of all three channels with current season programming available live and on-demand next day as well as a robust library of movies within the Hallmark library.

“As we continue to make Peacock a premium streaming destination, Hallmark is exactly the type of brand we want to align with,” said Kelly Campbell, President of Peacock, and Direct-to-Consumer, NBCUniversal. “Through this groundbreaking partnership, we’re giving Hallmark viewers a unique viewing experience while continuing to grow our audience, boosting engagement across both brands.”

“We’re proud to enter this partnership with Peacock and bring our widely beloved Hallmark content to their subscribers,” said Wonya Lucas, President & CEO, Hallmark Media. “The opportunity to provide our devoted fanbase access to all three of Hallmark’s linear networks will allow our audience to continue to grow and connect in meaningful ways.”

In addition to the live Hallmark channels, Peacock subscribers have access to Hallmark content on demand, including live and next-day access to series like “When Calls the Heart,” plus the new, original primetime series “Ride” and “The Way Home,” premiering in 2023. The Hallmark-branded hub will also include a VOD collection containing new premiere movies and dozens of Hallmark movie classics all included with a Peacock Premium subscription.

The complete lineups for Hallmark‘s Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas holiday events are officially here, and the movies will start premiering on Friday, October 21st, which means the key art posters are slowly rolling out!

Haul out the holly, the merriest lineup of the year has officially been announced!

On this first day of autumn, Hallmark delivered yuletide cheer with the unveiling of their highly anticipated holiday programming events, the Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas iconic slate and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas celebration — kicking off on Friday, October 21st with 40 all-new original movie premieres on the way!

Returning to lead the fête is huge roster of fan-favorites, including Alison Sweeney, Andrew Walker, Ashley Williams, Barbara Niven, Brennan Elliott, Brooks Darnell, Erin Cahill, Holly Robinson Peete, Jonathan Bennett, Kristoffer Polaha, Luke Macfarlane, Marilu Henner, Nikki DeLoach, Paul Campbell, Rachel Boston, Ryan Paevey, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Taylor Cole, Tyler Hynes, Victor Webster, Wes Brown, Will Kemp, and Lacey Chabert who will star in her record-breaking twelfth Christmas movie for the network!

Viewers will also be treated to some new faces joining the Hallmark holiday family, such as Marlo Thomas, Ann-Margret, Ellen Travolta, Greta Scacchi, Kara Wang, Ledisi, Lynn Whitfield, Lisa Loeb, Margaret Colin, Moira Kelly, Mykelti Williamson, Reginald VelJohnson, Reshma Shetty, Stephen Tobolowsky, Tamala Jones, Tia Carrere and Yael Grobglas.

This lineup is particularly exciting as it includes many firsts for the network, including their first Kwanzaa-focused movie and LGBTQ couple led story. If you’re anything like us, you’re both missing Christmas in July and anxiously awaiting the holiday season this fall to get into full-swing of the Christmas feeling.  We can’t speed up time, but we will let you know that you can fill your August with the spirit of the season thanks to Hallmark!

If you visit the Watch Hallmark TV!, there is a selection of free original Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas movies that you can enjoy all month long.  All you need is a cable provider, that’s listed on the compatible list to watch, to login with and you’re good to go.

We are still a few months away from the grand reveal of all the new movies coming to Hallmark this holiday season, but Christmas is coming a little early this year – we’re being gifted three all-new original holiday movies for Hallmark Channel’s Christmas in July celebration!

“My Grown-Up Christmas List” (starring Kayla Wallace and Kevin McGarry), “Campfire Christmas” (starring Tori Anderson, Corbin Bleu and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman) and “Christmas in Toyland” (starring Vanessa Lengies and Jesse Hutch) are on the lineup this year, and with them come these super festive keyart posters that we had to share!

Christmas movies begin premiering on Hallmark next weekend so, naturally, there are some key art/posters coming out to promote the new original movies coming to Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas this year.  So far, we have four posters debuted, which is actually kind of a small amount compared to what we usually have this close to kick-off.
