Mele Kalikimaka! Lea Michele stars in “Same Time, Next Christmas”, a holiday romantic story that takes place far away from a winter wonderland! In this tale, Michele plays a woman who celebrates the holidays on her family’s annual Christmas visit to Hawaii where feelings reignite for her childhood sweetheart when they reunite at the same resort where they met years earlier.  But, wait, there’s more…she kinda-sorta-definitely already has a boyfriend back home. Who will she choose?

While some got an early start in the summer, now that Halloween is over, the rest of the networks are revealing their holiday programming lineup, and to say I’m excited about what’s to come would be an understatement! ABC announced their plans for ‘the most wonderful of the year’ this morning with a jam-packed selection of festive themed episodes of your favorite network series, traditional holiday specials, original movies, and more.

Look out for Thanksgiving and Christmas-centered episodes for “black-ish”, “Modern Family“, “Stumptown”, “General Hospital”, and more, as well as the return of “The Great Christmas Light Fight” and “The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition”.

Trisha Yearwood will host this year’s “CMA Country Christmas” while Lea Michele will lead the original film, “Same Time, Next Christmas” alongside Charles Michael Davis and Bryan Greenberg–and no holiday season would be complete without the Peanuts gang so, make sure you tune in for the iconic specials,“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”, “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, “I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown” and “Happy New Year, Charlie Brown”.

You can expect the yearly tradition of magical celebrations from Disney Parks, and once Santa Claus finishes his route, end the year with “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”.

It’s the first day of November, which makes it the perfect day for some Christmas binge-watching news, doesn’t it?  Freeform seems to think so because, they dropped the entire lineup for their iconic 25 Days of Christmas holiday programming this year and I have it all here for you!

Just like last year, Freeform will span the 25 Days of Christmas celebration from their network to ABC and the Disney Channel, which allows for you to get your Christmas fix all day long on multiple networks! Included in the lineup is the network premiere of “Same Time, Next Christmas” starring Lea Michele, Bryan Greenberg and Charles Michael Davis (which will originally debut on ABC on December 5th), Freeform’s original holiday film “Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas”, the new reality competition series “Wrap Battle”, a 2-hour holiday event for the original series “Good Trouble”, and the return of traditional classics like “Home Alone”, “Frosty the Snowman”, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”–and all three films from “The Santa Clause” saga!

After announcing that she was making a Christmas album earlier this summer, Lea Michele officially announced her first solo holiday record, CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY!

The former Glee actress has recorded several Christmas albums for the hit FOX television series, but this it the first time she’s been able to create her own collection filled with renditions of her favorite seasonal classics, including “Silver Bells”, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from Disney’s Frozen.

“It was always my dream to make a Christmas record,” Michele, exclusively told PEOPLE. “Christmas is so special to me. It’s such an important time of year for me and my family that I have so many incredible memories from.”

I saw a tweet the other day from Bryan Greenberg (“The Mindy Project”, “One Tree Hill”) about filming in Oahu, Hawaii for a month, and it didn’t take long to find out what project it is that he’s working on… it’s a Christmas movie!

Deadline announced yesterday that both Greenberg and Charles Michael Davis (“Younger”, “For the People”, “The Originals”) will join Lea Michele in the upcoming ABC holiday movie, “Same Time, Next Christmas” — which is currently filming in Hawaii.

This holiday season is shaping up to be quite the busy one for Lea Michele as she’ll already be spreading joy with an upcoming Christmas album, but today it was announced that Michele is set to star in the upcoming Freeform Studios film, “Same Time, Next Christmas”, which will premiere on the ABC Network later this year.

Michele has starred on Broadway, had a breakout role on FOX’s “Glee”, co-lead the short-lived comedy “The Mayor” for ABC and had a part in the 2011 festive film “New Year’s Eve”, but this will be her first Christmas-centered movie.

She will play the lead role of Olivia Henderson, a young woman who met her childhood sweetheart during her family’s annual Christmas visit to Hawaii. After being separated by distance and years, the two reunite at the same Hawaii resort years later and the old chemistry between them flares up anew – but circumstances conspire to keep them apart.

“This holiday season holds special importance to me as I get to celebrate both my role in this film and my first-ever holiday album,” said Lea Michele. “I’m honored to return to ABC with this movie event, and I am excited to share the holidays with everyone.”

Here’s hoping some of that music will serve as a merry backdrop to a few scenes!

“Same Time, Next Christmas” is executive produced by EveryWhere Studios’ Tom Mazza and David Calvert Jones, while Stephen Herek (“Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” “Mr. Holland’s Opus” and “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure”) is set to direct. There’s no current air date set yet, but keep in mind that ABC programming can also be viewed on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu.
